Cook Out

I picked my son up from Camp Lejeune and he said he wanted to take me to Cook Out because it was one of his favorite go-to lunch places. It did not disappoint and the price was great!

Going here is a hit or miss. Sometimes we get good service other times, not so much. The food is good, but I'd check to make sure you get what you ask for. Depending on the time of day you go and if they are very busy, most definitely check your food for the right order. My recent trip here seemed like the manager handed me two of the three orders and said, "Have a good night." When I said we were missing an order, he seemed irritated, he replied," Hold on, then slammed the window. When he returned, he was like here. No smile, no sorry, just here. The only reason I gave the a decent rating is because of the younger man that was smiling and slightly blushed after a comment was made.

The 2 lane drive-through has two windows in a unique arrangement. If you choose the right lane, you wait to turn left across the left lane to the 2nd window around the corner, waiting until any car there has moved on. It is efficient and unique so I just wanted to mention it.
The food is typical cookout and everything was great.

I got the big double... I was expecting a bigger burger than I got, but was good for what it was. Cheese was melted on the burger which I love..

Service was good, food was correct. If I'm back in North Carolina anytime soon I'll be stopping back in.

Very fast and inexpensive. The cook out trays are an awesome combo which includes a drink. My daughters and wife love the milk shakes. I'm a big fan of the combo and how they are made, which includes two sides and a drink. Their meals are very filling and for a family of five it comes out to under $30; that includes extras like chili-cheese fries and milk shakes. Overall, pleasant, quick, inexpensive, and clean.

The girl taking out order kept over talking me and rushing me. It's no wonder that our order was prepared incorrectly, she rang it up wrong.

This place is sooo good. Under 30 bucks for a family of 5. They never got my order wrong one time. Food is served hot.

My favorite fast food in da ville. Service is always quick, never wait over 10min even with lines wrapping the building.highly recommend a burger cookout style w a blueberry cheesecake milkshake!

I always get the same thing at cookout but it's always great and pleasant every time I go there.

Shakes were great. The lady at the window as nice-ish. I didn’t see the car pulled up to the side window so when I came around she made me back up even though no one was in the other lane to block traffic. If she would of waited 60 seconds I pulled forward anyways.
Everything else was great

Food was good, it took us awhile to get home so the bun was soggy. Would have been excellent if we ate immediately. 😋 great prices and gentleman at the the drive thru was very polite and courteous. We had a large order and it was super fast.

We had the milk shakes. Five people happy. It's a drivethrough.

I went for the first time this month and I went back two more times to try more things from the menu. I went for lunch, the service was fast and nice. The hamburgers are absolutely awesome, I also liked the hot dog, the onion rings and the cheese fries. Try the cookout sauce, it makes everything even better. And the best things is that the prices are unbeatable, I will be going back.

The Mrs and I stopped for a shake after supper. As usual the shakes were great.

Cook out is by far the best "Diner Style fast food" around. Combos are filling and really decent price. If you have never been I would highly recommend for a quick great meal. Don't forget to ask if their walking tacos have LEGS 🌮
