Artworks Studio

I have gone here a few times now! I’ve taken my mom, daughter, little sister and grandma! We even had my sister do a summer art camp here. Every time has been one to remember! I have enjoyed myself so much and so has my family. My best friend flies in this week and I cannot wait to take her! The owner (I can’t believe I forgot her name) is so kind! She always goes above and beyond. I’m so thankful we have this place in our little city.

The pottery wheel lessons with Jenn at Artworks taught me so much! She’s so patient, positive, kind and knowledgeable. You’ll walk out feeling like a potter!
Definitely check this place out! In addition to pottery lessons, they offer lots of other awesome classes and open studio activities. An absolute gem of a place!

This place is truly a gem! I have attended two pottery classes with Jenn and had a great experience. The staff are welcoming and kind and the atmosphere is creative and fun!

My husband and I just had date night at Artworks Studio this afternoon. We took a pottery class to celebrate our anniversary. Jen was our instructor. She was amazing! So incredibly supportive and attentive. She made the whole experience enjoyable even when I was failing at making a bowl 🤣❤. We can’t wait to come back to glaze our creations!

Sara is amazing! My son and I had so much fun visiting her studio for a screen printing workshop. She has so many different projects available. The cost is very reasonable. My son said I haven’t had so much fun in a long time afterward. We were even able to connect with some local folks. We will be coming back soon and definitely recommend.

Absolutely loved the class!! I attended the Anime Class this summer and had a wonderful time. The studio is decorated with so many lively colors and staff are kind, patient, and very helpful. I absolutely would go back every chance I get. Everyone is both talented and sweet. Felt just like home, truly. I recommend full heartedly. 🥰

Sara is an amazing art teacher. My daughters (12 and 9 years old) attended the weekly Homeschool Art Class for about 8 months. They stopped going because we moved out of the area and were so sad to leave. Both girls loved this class and looked forward to it every week. They learned new things and created so many wonderful pieces of art. I am thankful they were able to attend because this was a great addition to our homeschool curriculum. They did many things in class that I would not have been able to offer at home.

My wife and I went for the first time and had a blast. Jenn was a great teacher and made us newbies feel a lot better about what we were trying to do on the pottery wheel. We will be back again to do more work in the future. Thanks again Jenn!

Amazing little studio! I went for some pottery wheel classes with Jenn and she was awesome! She is very knowledgeable with the process while also giving me creative freedom to create whatever I wanted. I can’t wait to return!

Jenny’s pottery wheel lessons are fantastic and I cannot wait to go again. The best part of my day is heading to artworks to get creative and have fun.
They offer a little bit of everything and host different sorts of get togethers and classes, so definitely check out the calendar on their website. I’ve tried their pottery, journaling and clay classes and everything has been awesome.

If your are visiting Jacksonville, DON'T LEAVE without creating a piece of art at Artworks!!! Between their work with art therapy and varies creative outlets you will enjoy a fun and therapeutic experience. Not to mention having a beautiful custom piece of art to so for your time. We did mosaics and it was truly like hanging out and being creative with a friend. Sarah is a lovely human being. We cannot wait to come visit again.

Sarah and staff were amazing! I went in looking for a mother's day gift at the last minute and she went out of her way to make sure it got done in time. The kids the go for the afternoon programs love it and Sarah understands each person has a different view and idea of art and works with them to make art fun! Can't wait to go back!

My 12 year old son has participated in 3 week long art camps through Artworks and has loved them all. Sara and the other staff are very genuine and kind. My son is on the autism spectrum and the staff knew exactly how to work with him and help him have fun with his art in his way. I would recommend Artworks to anyone!

What an amazing experience! Came to the journaling class with Sara and even though I have done art journaling for awhile thanks to Sara I was so happy to be there! This place warms my soul and I can let my creative juices take over! Never dull or boring! Sara is amazing and explains things so that you can do without feeling like you can’t.

Mrs. Gant is one of the most genuinely nicest people I have ever met. She was my teacher in highschool. And she is still super sweet. Definitely recommend anybody and everybody to swing by and learn some things!

A beautifully artistic space for all creators to express themselves and learn new skills! Fun for folks of all ages! Great idea for date night!

The music there was excellent, and I enjoyed the wide selections of colors and things to do.
