The 3rd Corner Wine Shop & Bistro

Love the food here. Everything I’ve had is absolutely delicious. The shrimp arrabbiata pasta is absolutely divine. The truffle Parmesan fries. The short rib. Escargot is delish with the baguette. I occasionally come for the tastings and today they hosted Rombauer. All the wine was wonderful. I took some time to browse the selections and they had multiple 93-95 point choices. They have flights for happy hour 4-6 daily and all day Tuesdays. They have Daou Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet, and Pessimist right now. All great varietals. Staff are awesome and the establishment is clean and organized.

New to the area, checking out the neighborhood. I think I’ll be spending some time here! Very interesting selection of reds (that’s as far as I got) at reasonable prices. 7$ corkage fee for bottles consumed on the premises.

it’s not just amazing food, the prices are just as incredible. They have wine racks throughout so you can select what your looking for. Can’t beat the prices, service and flavors!

Not enough places with creme brulee on the menu. This was so yummy! The cheese plate made me wish I'd picked the meat and cheese board as only the bleu had a flavor that packed a punch, the other three were just too bland next to it.

This place has a great varieties of wines and drinks. The food is great and the servers and bartenders are very nice and friendly. The place is neat and clean. It's an intimate place also but alot of choices when it comes to drinks. They have beers. They open at 3pm. This is definitely one of the best places to go to in Encinitas. You don't want to miss this place.

Incredible wine selection with great prices. Helpful staff and sommelier to choose the perfect wine for you. The set up is pretty unique too. It's like when you go to a restaurant and they let you pick your own fish from the tank. Except in this case, it's wine instead of fish. Only a $5 corkage fee too. The food was decadently seasoned and the portions were quite hearty. I had the ciopinno and they did NOT skimp on the seafood. I can eat a thing or two, and I was very satisfied by the time I got to the bottom of the bowl.

Had a lovely anniversary dinner here! Love the experience and can’t beat the price point to value on the wine selection they have :)

Such a great place for wine lovers! Always interesting tastings and well-curated retail wine selection. Check out the Saturday afternoon tastings. Brunch is delicious - they were super accommodating making my eggs Florentine a deconstructed version.

Always a great option if you want a good value and consistent meal. They sell retail priced wine and allow the diner to select their bottle from the racks. Staff is friendly, food is good, location is great, and they have a great brunch. Highly recommend!

We came here for a Pinot Noir tasting. I'd never been here before. Not only did I have a great time, but I also found my new go-to wine shop. Plus, the food is fantastic!!

Great place to catch a little midday snack

The selection of wine is very good - I order the risotto and was very good - if you ever near this place you should stop by 😋😂

The five stars is because the food was so good, I just ate here the other day and ordered the butternut squash soup and it was out of this world good, everybody at the table ordered it, i ordered the baked chicken with mashed potatoes and vegetables It was exceptionally good, The other people at the table ordered pasta dishes and they looked amazing we ordered a local Merlot wine It was fabulous, The service was okay the atmosphere was nice because you're sitting around hundreds of bottles of wine which makes it really unique I would definitely go here again and I would tell everybody I know that this is an excellent restaurant. The cook is absolutely talented

Awesome food and service! Zach (bartender) is so wonderful at his job- attentive, hard working, and remembers what people like. The burger deal on Wednesdays is a steal and so delicious!

We have been going to Third Corner since it opened, and the food and wine are still great and affordable! Their wine prices are competitive, even with Costco. I love to go here with groups since their menu has options for almost everyone and you can hear each other indoors. One of the best restaurants in Encinitas!

We had fun checking out the wine racks and settling on a bottle to share at dinner. This place is a gem and there are plenty of menu items id like to try. The scallops were perfect!

The food was absolutely incredible. I recommend the beef rib.

We haven't been here in about 4 months, it has gone better since we were gone.
We are late eaters, so we appreciate restaurants that are open late.
The food was awesome, get the chicken pate, it is amazing.
And the cheese and aged meat plate was yummy.
All the salads are good, and we had the super tender short rib.
Have fun with Luke while you are there, and enjoy a nice late meal.

A friend recently took me to the 3rd Corner. What a great find. Excellent selection of wines to choose from. You can carry it home with you or stay and enjoy it with any number of delicious food items available at the cozy bar. They also serve brunch on the weekends. Great atmosphere. Fantastic local patrons. Great food. Fabulous wines available. What more could you ask for?
