NorShor Theatre

Very much enjoyed the Sound of Music at the Norshor Theater! Staff was very friendly. We had seats way in the back of the balcony, but were able to see just fine. The seating was very steep in the balcony. I saw a couple older people having trouble getting up the stairs.

I saw the Addams family play here back in August. I very much enjoyed the atmosphere everything was clearly labeled where you needed to be. The people working that evening were very friendly. I was a little disappointed in the snacks and beverages available. The show was awesome and I look forward to more plays and performances.

Came to see a performance by young actors, the theater was clean and the seats were easy to navigate thanks to the ushers. We got a couple of drinks from the bar and both were great (lavender drink and an old fashioned). Would visit and see more performances again.

It has come a long way since my misspent youth! It is lovely to see the careful renovations that have taken place, although I miss the pale blues and greens of the old paint.

I look forward to enjoying more events and performances there!

Great venue for grand and intimate performances alike! Glad to have this gem in the community. I so enjoyed the Mental Health Awareness Concert over Easter weekend. Three Altos, Dead Horses, and Them Coulee Boys all gave stellar performances.

Love the space. Seats are not large but enough room for most medium sized people. Pretty good bar with decent options, even a few snacks. Views were good from our mid balcony seats. Love that they are doing plays, concerts, and classic movies.

The actors they have in their plays are fantastic. They are into their characters and can be very entertaining. Highly recommend taking in one of their shows.

Amazing experience! I would definitely recommend. Very well put together productions, and the cast was witty and entertaining to watch. It is always fun to walk through an old building and seeing all the ways the renovators mix the historic with the new additions. A absolutely fantastic. It was my first time at the Northshor and I will definitely be back. 10/10 would recommend.

Such a beautiful theater. No better place to have watched Postmodern Jukebox! And even though we were up in the very front in the folding chairs, they were well-cushioned and comfortable. Looking forward to a chance to go on a non-school night so I can try some of the drinks.

This was the first time I had ever been inside the NorShor. It has been lovingly restored to a stately, grand palace. The sight lines were unobstructed and the acoustics were phenomenal. I can't wait until I see another performance.

Great place in the heart of Duluth. Glad to see it is still active with various venues such as comedians and plays.

Wonderful spot! Amazing local performance as well, I’ve been out to shows in Chicago and the cast here rivaled the casts I’ve seen there.

I paid $40 for my ticket to be three rows from the stage and it was well worth it! This place is a true “Steel Magnolia”

Went for the Duluth comedy festival on 2/16. I really enjoyed the show and the theater itself is beautiful. Pleasant staff and quick, friendly service at the box office.

Beautiful recently restored theater! Stadium seating throughout makes every seat have a great view of the stage. Concessions has a good selection of beer and wine along with other choices, though limited food options. At some productions you can pre-order your intermission drink, which is great!

The theater is so beautiful inside! They have concessions on the main floor and on the second floor with refreshments, alcohol, and warmed cashews.

We experience the Sound of Music! The actors were mesmerizing with gorgeous voices! We laughed, cried, and cheered!

An amazing job restoring this theater to its original beauty. I highly recommend visiting this place.

The theatre is such a lovely place to see a play or musical ! Into the woods was so amazing we came back four days later to see it again ! Bravo ! ♥♥♥ we are still humming the tunes 5 stars all the way around!

Went to the play Clue here withy girlfriend.She thought it was great..I kind of got in a little nap here and there but it was still a good play ...just not for me. First time I'd been back to the Norshore since the remodel...looks really nice and the whole play experience was very comfortable. The concessions people were very friendly the people taking your tickets were very nice and overall the place was very clean and comfortable and I'm sure I will enjoy other shows there.

Went to see the play Annie with my sister and almost 10 year old daughter. Actors/Actresses were very talented, orchestra was great. Seating comfortable. I really appreciate their Covid-19 safety measures and masking policy. First time out in a more crowded area since the start of the pandemic and I was impressed by the safety precautions.
