So grateful to Sherwin Young at Starbird piano !!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the owner Sherwin Young of Starbird piano. We have had an issue with some cracks in our Mason Hamlin grand piano for many years and had trouble finding anyone to help. People have not followed up or followed through, and even in some cases ignored. However with Sherwin, even though we had purchased the piano from Starbird long before Sherwin bought the business, they went above and beyond to help us. They run a very busy business, but still took a lot of time to investigate and explore ways to best help us navigate our issue. Not only did they expend a lot of time and energy, they even gave us discounts. Sherwin is a person of such integrity..follows through with what they say with nothing to gain personally. They repaired our piano to where you can’t even tell there was ever a crack (we had approached a well known experienced piano refinisher and he couldn’t do it because of its glossy finish) and they arranged for our fall board to be sent back to Mason Hamlin to be replaced or repaired for the other crack, which was something we were not able to do before on our own. They moved and stored our piano and then recommended a moving company to move it all the way to CA, and saw it safely picked up, while in communication with us the entire time. We can go on and on!! It is important to note that Sherwin is someone you definitely should trust to do business with.

I used them to move my piano from New Hampshire to Maine 2.5 hours away. Two people came and did a good job . The price was very fair for piano moving $800.00 . I would recommend.

I had a family heirloom upright piano moved by the folks at Starbird. They made the move with amazing care and precision through a difficult and tight entry way with turn up a flight of stars. I was afraid my piano would have to stay in storage. I had a wonderful experience with this company.

Great staff and great service. We purchased a new Yamaha digital piano and consigned our acoustic piano for sale. Everyone at Starbird was great to work with. Our delivery was 200 miles away but that was not a problem. The delivery crew were fantastic, and Starbird got us a great price for our consigned piano. Most highly recommended!

John, our salesman, was very considerate and patient. He spent time listening to what we needed and sold us a piano based on our needs, not based on what he wanted us to buy. Another gentleman helped us with loading. Overall, the experience was excellent. I would recommend this store to anyone looking for a professional and fun experience.
