Shake's Frozen Custard

I give this place a 5 star because it is made fresh while you wait and has a drive-thru. A sure satisfactory fix for your next sweet tooth crave. Everything is good! Try the waffles topped with your choice of ice cream and get it drizzled with your favorite toppings. A small local business run by owners who pour love into every bite.

This is now the original and only shakes location after the one in Georgetown switch to a different ownership and rebranded as Frozen flamingos

Dislocation still has do all the original flavors keeps things going with concrete custard Frozen up but just right with all kinds of mixings did you can do from cheesecake cookie dough Oreo to cherry banana blueberry raspberry strawberries and just about every other combination and put in between including as well accustom ice cream cake custom shakes custom banana split combos!

The customer service staff here do all they can to alternate the chairs to the shade area with drive-thru and pick up orders as well

Also one of the few locations open till 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday!

What I like about this location vs Georgetown is stay focus on custom banana splits such as triple Berry split fudge nutty butter banana split and a banana split in a cup!

Fun place to go during the warm of the afternoon. To have a shake or a custard filled cup of gooey goodness. And just relax in the nice day atmosphere and let the kids climb on the trees.

I really like this place. Custard is so delicious. They have a new menu recently. I will try it next time.

Delicious frozen treats. Friendly service. The chocolate malt was yummy. Simple and done with plenty of that malt flavor. Some of the treats,like the splits are big enough to share with a significant other! Good place to take the kiddos or a date. I would recommend this place!

Been coming to shakes since it opened and have never been disappointed, friendly people running the establishment, delicious and consistent cookie dough concretes and nice outdoor seating area with ambient lighting in the evening.

Shakes has become a family tradition for small celebrations. We go there to get a very tasty dessert and spend time together under the giant oak tree to enjoy an evening outdoors with the dogs. Their staff is always friendly, and I have enjoyed every frozen custard creation that I have tried from their menu. Awesome sauce!

Visiting Shake's is always a highlight of my day. I order the Concrete with chocolate custard and peanut butter with PB Cup in it, so I don't have a take on any other item on their menu.

The custard is always smooth, creamy and delicious. And the toppings ate always top notch and never stale. As a peanut butter fiend, it's always delicious to have that chocolate and PB combo.

There's only two problems - the drive thru line is slow, but I'm okay with them putting extra effort into their creations. For a better experience, I'd recommend getting out of the car to go to the window, but in today's age of pandemic, I felt better going through the drive thru.

The other problem was very surprising - I asked for a water for a water (tap water) to go with the custard but they charged me for it. I wasn't happy with that, but it wasn't enough to color my perception of my experience.

Custard is great, but only if you don't mind the wait! And skip the tap water.

Shakes feels like a small town ice-cream store. Local school kids tend to customers. They are very friendly and helpful.
The quality of the frozen custard is second to none. They have special items in some seasons. They also have fairly big menu with many choices.
The location also has picnic tables and large oak trees. Its fun to hang around there while enjoying their frozen custard.

The best frozen custard. We moved away, but make a trip every time we come back. Our dog gets really likes their puppy cups.

Always a nice experience when I go to Shake’s. They have really high quality custard and mix ins. There is a picnic table area you can enjoy your dessert at under a big tree. I really hope they continue to stay open and the community supports them.

Before Andy's opened up around the corner from me I would drive what felt like across the country from my house to Shakes because their shakes were so good. Whichever one I got, I'd always have them add caramel and marshmallow cream - now I want one just thinking about it. So good!! They have a drive-thru too, so even more convenient.

Best frozen custard place, period. We really miss not living closer. Our pup loves the puppy cup he gets every time we go

Their concretes are amazing!! I’d go here every day if I could lol. That being said, my only complaint is they use thin plastic cups instead of styrofoam, which makes the ice cream melt almost instantly. Still worth it.

First time trying a custard and really liked it! Service good and quantity good.

Great custard place. Generous serving. Only request is please give me a cover for my sundae cup, as well as napkins. It was messy! That said, do yourself a favor and go here - you won't regret it!
