It is better to rent a budget truck & move your stuff than paying a ton for renting from uhaul.

Thus place rents all sorts of stuff

Limited inventory and too expensive.

If I could give this company no stars I would. DO NOT USE Budget rental!!! I Rented a van in Atlanta to drop in Salt Lake City. After getting to Plano Tx on day 1 (Friday 9/23/22) the brakes making the worse metal on metal sound THE ENTIRE WAY I called to complain at 9am 9/24/22. Finally Budget sent someone to look at the van at 1:20pm to confirm there are no front brakes and we would need to obtain a new van. I had to wait until 4pm to get “approved” for a van only to find out one isn’t available in a 250 mile radius. Called customer service to be told some compensation would be given but they can’t say for sure what will be compensated or how much. So what do I do? Can I get a hotel room? Do they compensate for food? What about lost wages since I need to show up for work on Monday? I had to call to follow up more times than I can count, when I did miraculously I would receive a call at the same time from Budget saying they were following up. Finally I spoke to Michael, who said they found a van and he would call me back, but he needed the mileage of my van first. Do you think he called me back? NOPE! So here I am stranded in Plano TX…. Do I drive? Do I get a hotel room? This is a lawsuit waiting to happen and my life is in the balance!

Beware these guys are rental SCAM artists

I made an online reservation for a Budget Rental truck for a local move. received a call from someone at this place insisting that I would be required to show proof of insurance which I had and told her I was happy to provide. She then proceeded to inform me that my insurance card from my local StateFarm agent would not suffice and began to describe some ridiculous amount of forms and paperwork that would have to be presented ... ____OR___ I could purchase insurance from her that would take care of it.. WHAT A LOAD OF BS!!!

I cancelled the reservation and received a confirmation with NO indication that I would be charged a $50 ..NO show fee. So in the end the insurance scam worked... Taylor got $50 for doing absolutely NOTHING except for being professional rental scam artists.

STAY AWAY from this place to many reputable place available.
