Penske Truck Rental

Gave us a great deal on a truck and car trailer package. Service was always exceptional. They really helped us with our across country move!

Reserved a truck from Penske to be picked up in Mesquite, TX at 7am 2 weeks ago. Got multiple confirmations on reservation. Got to Home Depot, pick up spot, was told they didn't have the truck and that we would have to drive to Plano, TX. When we finally got the truck, the ignition switch fell into the dashboard. Have been waiting 40 minutes for someone to show up to fix it. Was told it would be a 20 minute wait. Second time in a month that we have had problems with Penske, reservations and waiting. Will not use them again. Hoping to be able to move at some point today.

Very contrary to the owners description, these vehicles are far from well maintained or maintained at all. The vehicle that they rented me was filthy and damaged and did not have any windshield wiper fluid. Thankfully Home Depot gave me some windshield wiper fluid. I found out once I started my 1300 mile one-way trip that the vehicle shook very badly when driving on the highway and when stopping. Needless to say, it was a horrible trip. I'll never rent from Penske again.
