Ms. Janet is an amazing teacher! She can be a strict teacher, but it helps you not make mistakes during driving and avoid any crashes. Having a drivers license isn’t something anyone can recklessly have, and Ms. Janet will help you as best she can, but this doesn’t mean it won’t be hard. It also depends on the amount of effort and commitment the student puts in to practice and improve on their driving skills. No teacher would want to teach a student who doesn’t improve or doesn’t try to improve by not practicing daily, as there are only 7 lessons. Passing your drivers license and being able to drive on the road is something that has to be taken seriously. Ms. Janet is truly a teacher who cares for her students and someone who wishes that everyone can drive safely on the road! My brother will definitely be taking her classes when he receives a permit!!

Janet was absolutely amazing and knowledgeable,we are from South Africa and she assisted us throughout the process,we could not have done it without her ,our daughter Rebecca passed with 98 percent 👌

My son took driving lessons from Janet and he really learned a lot - so much so that he likes to give me "reminders" about the laws. :) Janet is not the "warm and fuzzy" type, so if you're looking for someone to coddle your kid, she is not the one. I found her honest and direct - if my son was struggling with something and needed extra help, she shared that with me and gave me resources to help. If he did well, she shared that also. It worked for my child - he aced the driving test! Now I'm getting ready to register my other son for lessons.

I have three kids. Two boys and a daughter. My boys are older and took Drivers Ed at a different school. That school has since closed down by the time my daughter was ready to take Drivers Ed and so we found Stone Point for her. Although I feel like my boys were taught well and became good drivers my daughter with Stone Point exceeded her brothers in how quickly everything clicked with driving. I wish all my kids would have been able to take Drivers Ed at Stone Point. I always felt very comfortable with my daughter driving and felt she was taught very well which made her have confidence on the road. My daughter enjoyed the class and the drive time and was always telling me things she learned that even I didn’t know. If I could give 10 stars, I would. Thank you Ms. Stone for everything!!

Janet is a detailed teacher. She has high expectations for practice time and listening to instructions so your child will be well trained and ready to drive. She is passionate about her job and I'm thankful she taught my daughter how to drive so I don't have to!

I did all seven lessons with Ms. Stone, and I can say, I was pleasantly satisfied with the results. I am now very confident in my ability to drive, and I owe it to her. She was very patient with me and when needed very instructional. She also allowed me, when we had family emergencies or I wasn’t able to get in enough practice between lessons, to cancel and reschedule my lessons.

I highly recommend StonePoint Driving School if you’re just starting out, or if your having to start anew, with driving.

My son took classes with Stone point driving school. Janet is very professional and knows how to teach and boost the confidence levels of the students. Initially my son started with slow performance and got picked up very fast. The parallel parking technique Janet teaches is very good and my son learned the parallel parking very fast. Overall we strongly recommend Janet and she is very honest and straightforward.

Mrs Janet taught me all the things I needed to know and more in order to pass my exam. Because of her creating teaching skills and experience I was able to drive on my birthday! Stonepoint Driving School is number ONE in our book, thanks to Janet Stone, owner and experienced instructor for over 15 years.

Our teenage daughter was "driving us crazy" (!) until we were fortunate enough to find Ms. Stone. She provided excellent, expert instruction to our daughter, with specific guidance on rules of the road, all while offering helpful hints in a catchy, easy-to-remember way. On the occasions that we had questions (including situations that arose from "behind the wheel practice log" sessions during our own parent-taught driving), Ms. Stone was always available to provide her insight.

We found that an added bonus of Stonepoint Driving School is that it shares a multitude of helpful materials on its website to assist parents and students in navigating the protracted process of obtaining a license. Ms. Stone truly goes above and beyond in helping equip her students to become safe, knowledgeable, defensive drivers. To that end, we appreciated the specific, graduated lesson environments beginning with the parking lot, then neighborhood driving, on to city streets, then highways, then freeways, parallel parking, and for the 7th and last lesson, a final evaluation and DPS practice test. We also appreciated that we could even pay for a few extra practice lessons (based on our daughter's specific needs). By the time our teen took her actual DPS driving test, she was well prepared, acing the parallel parking and passing the test with flying colors.

Thanks to Ms. Stone who made a tremendous difference in our daughter's driver's education, safety, proficiency, and confidence on the road!

Miss Stone was an amazing teacher. I was able to learn confidently. It is incredibly easy to sign up for classes on her website. I’ve never had any issues with that at all. I was able to pass my driving test and she was helpful in guiding me.

I cannot say enough great things about Janet Stone! My son was one of the many kids to be left in the lurch when Longhorn Drive went under. She contacted us personally to offer her services so that those kids enrolled there would not lose there credits and drive time. Amazing teacher, you need to listen to what she says because she tell you how it is and if you do exactly as she says you’ll become a great driver. i personally learned a lot and loved every minute of it, classroom, drive time, and the road test. :)

I saw her car driving around Cedar Park. I wrote her information down and I signed my son online for the classes. I was able to do everything online and chose the days and hours for the classes. Mss April is very professional. My son learned and enjoyed all his classes. I really recommend her. She is an excellent instructor for teens and adults.
