I am thankful and impressed with how we were welcomed and treated by the staff at cope memorial chapel funeral home. A staff member Rolanda Harrison helped me and my family by showing her sympathy and respect in helping us with how to fill out the application and do the public announcements on the news paper and on the radio. Rolanda also was able to help us make our selection of funeral announcements and a casket for my older brother. She was also able to help us with covering up the gravesite with a shovel she’s an excellent employee of Cope Memorial Chapel. Ernest and Brandon are amazing. They were very accommodating and comforting. From the time they took our mother from her home, to the time she was laid to rest, Cope Memorial was compassionate and showed us that at a time when a family is grieving, there are people who will take care of their loved one. We will be forever grateful!

I wanted to thank Cope Memorial for helping take care of my loved one through this hard trial of our lives. They took good care of us and especially my Mother, they laid my mother to rest the best way possible. The three people that I would love to thank is Terrance, Angel, as well as Rolanda! They made our services the best experience possible to being there for my family and i, the empathy and kindness and love and care they showed for my families. They supported us emotionally through this transition. They communicated and made our experiences remarkable for us. The amount of communication they had with us to who donated and to adding some suggestions for us. I wish I was able to give these three individuals a raise! Tyrrence was of great service to us in a very difficult time of need to our family, he was very understanding, patient, and most of all very comforting to our family during our loss, he was always available whenever we needed to make or change our situation/plans. I Received a follow up phone call from Jeff. He informed me that they ordered the death certificates and an extra one at no charge. Then I Received another phone call from Taylor that they were ready for pick up! I am Grateful for the Responses and I Received the documents in hand. I understand there was a Process involved which was their Reason for the Time it took. Thank You Jeff for Following Through like you said you would do.

Cope Memorial did an Amazing and Memorable Funeral Services and Viewing and also preparing our loved one. I Greatly Appreciate the Warm Caring staff who comforted us and were patient with us as well. Amazing Receptionist who is the Sweetest Woman by far in your company. I am having difficulty obtaining the death certificate from Taylor. I have been back and forth making follow up phone calls because does not return any phone calls. This morning I have tried calling and my calls are disconnected after the first ring. My loved ones funeral was May 5th, 2021. Taylor gave me several false hope information these past few months. After being told I should be receiving the death certificate in a week or so, to now were in August and being told she’s waiting on a letter. I don’t understand the dilemma? Technology is vast and at our fingertips that I find it ironic that waiting on a letter to come in the mail? Or why? I have so many questions and at one point the manager Jeff even gave me his word. But now he’s refusing my phone calls and he also has not returned any phone calls after I have numerously left him messages to call me. I’m ready to file a complaint to the New Mexico State Board that regulates Funeral homes business practices on death certificates.

My son died unexpectedly and Cope Memorial was truly a blessing in such a terrible time of grief. Thank you Brandon, for all your kind consideration during our darkest hour of losing my 29 year old son.

Cope Memorial provided comfortable, warm and compassionate care. Thorough and complete service from start to finish. A big plus to know that Cope Memorial has crematorium right here in Gallup. I highly recommend Cope Mortuary
