The delivery guy was great and accommodating.

As for the topsoil I bought-- I figured with the description saying "may have small stones" I could reasonably expect not to have rocks that are bigger than my head in it. 2 months later and I'm still sifting through the pile trying to salvage what I can.

So the $22/cu.yd. topsoil is definitely a no-go in the future.

Amazing service and landscape supply. Friendly, fair, and reasonable priced. Honestly hard to believe that I would receive such a great experience from a landscape supply company. I recently needed to order a large amount of materials from Dunlay Material, and I wasn't exactly sure what material would work best for the job I had. After talking to Jason he mentioned he had to run an errand and would swing by my house. After arriving I explained what I was looking to accomplish and Jason provided a few recommendations and recommended the sand/compost for a lawn top dressing to not only add nutrients to the yard but level out several unlevel spots I had. Once I was ready to place the order I reached out and the order process was incredibly easy and surprisingly the materials were very fairly priced. Unfortunately due to my work schedule I wasn't able to take delivery until after business hours very late in the day on Friday nonetheless and Jason was happy to accommodate. Friday came and Jason reached out in advance to confirm delivery and communicated the info on delivery. Jason stayed long past work hours to ensure he fulfilled the commitment he made. He loaded and made multiple trips to deliver the materials. While already an amazing experience up to this point the Dunlay Material difference didn't end there. The material they delivered exceeded my expectations. I have ordered top dressing for my lawn before from another supplier and usually end up with very course material looking more like mulch containing all sorts of stuff including tons of rock. The sand compost mix was super fine and super rich. I can't wait to see my yard in a few weeks. Thank you Jason and Dunlay Material!

Super helpful. I just went to arrange to get some crushed granite delivered to my house. While I was there, learned about fertilizer and some other helpful gardening tidbits from Jason. Super friendly and helpful and was able to get my delivery the very next day. Would highly recommend!

I contacted Dunlay Material to put in a new backstop for a rifle range on my ranch. They did a fantastic job. Jason with Dunlay was great to work with and kept me updated on the project as it progressed. Dunlay Material has exceeded my expectations (which is hard to do) in both quality of work, communication and price. I would definitely use them again for my next project.

Being new to the area, we were looking for a way to put down a driveway and RV pad on our property. Dunlay Material‘s came through with the perfect solution. They delivered the material in stages. Then we were able to spread it, and create the perfect setup. We can’t thank Jason enough for his expertise and scheduling efficiency.

This place is awesome with great service and fair pricing. Best of all they are ON TIME and so friendly. My schedule is hectic and it was nice to have my material delivered at my convenience without anyone getting frustrated that I had to keep rescheduling. They were also able to dump it in the three spots I needed it as opposed to another company who said it could only be dumped in one spot. Get with Jason and he'll take care of you!

Ordered 4 cu. yds. of soil. Jason had great customer service with delivery. He also called and gave me more info about a better product for my project, he threw in an extra yard of top notch product for us for free. Said the receptionist is still learning and he did it as a gesture for not receiving the best recommendation when ordering. He also let my daughter dump the dump truck so she could get a great experience. Couldn't be happier. Would recommend

The Dunlay staff were very friendly and professional. My husband and I had gone to another landscaping site. We were told that they would be receiving the material we needed in the next two weeks and then it would take them another week or so to deliver. We went to Dunlay found what we needed and got it delivered the next day. If and when we need any more material we go to back to Dunlay Landscaping. Great service, product, prices and staff.

From the first time entering the front door at Dunlay Materials I was greeted with the up most courtesy and professionalism. It was obvious that these people take pleasing their customers very seriously. They will verify your material calculations assuring your getting the exact amount you need for your project. Can't say enough good things about Dunlay Material. The person who answered the phone was very nice but wanted me to speak to Jason the yard manager because I needed some help deciding on which type of soil I needed for my job. He called me right back and took my order that afternoon. The next day it was delivered in two loads. They even let specify several different areas to dump the soil making it so much easier for me to spread. I highly recommend. I am in Castroville and they will be my go to place from here on out.

Purchased landscaping rocks for our pool. Couldn't be any easier doing business with Dunlay. Called on a Tuesday morning made payment and had a dump truck delivering our rocks later that afternoon. Price, even with delivery, was much more reasonable than those big box stores.

I had another company lined up nearly a week in advance and the morning of they called to let me know they weren’t going to be able to bring my material. I reached out to Dunlay and spoke to Jason. Not only was he able to bring me material the same day, but he took the time to ask questions about the project I was going to ensure the correct materials was being used for the job. He and his guys went out of there way to fix a problem caused by another company and I’d recommend them to anyone for your next project.
