Oceanside Golf Course

This is a great course for anyone looking to play a fun round of golf. For the price compared to the other local courses I can’t complain. After 4pm there are no more rentals so walking only. The course is nicely kept up. Lots of squirrel holes off to the sides. And occasionally turtle cruising around. Friendly staff. Great value! Would recommend.

Nice course! With the exception of some areas that are being treated and grass has been planted, fairways and greens are in great shape. Also, staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Kudos to them! Look forward to playing here again whenever I’m back in Southern CA.

First, thus is a challenging course. Next, great greens...snd ufast. And topping the whole experience off is the really nice, really talented, and really knowledgeable staff. Yikes...and the fees are perhaps the most affordable in the County.

One of the best golf courses in Oceanside! Great place to play 18 holes! Greens and fairways are well maintained year round! Can’t go wrong with the price of the green fees either! I try to play here a few times a month. Also great that their practice range is on real grass!!

I don't golf but from time to time a great hotdog hits a spot that a filet mingon would not. The Oceanside golf course walk up deli had been recommended as top notch dog so I had to give it a shot. There is ample parking close so if all you want is a hotdog you can grab one and go quick and easy.
They use Kirtland (Costco) brand hotdogs which are all beef, and they grill them which adds flavor. You get hotdog and chips for $4.50 and it is a 1/4Lb dog so you get pretty full for less than five bucks. If you are working around Douglas/Vandergrift in Oceanside and want to grab a quick lunch on the cheap I would definitely recommend Oceanside Golf Club deli. Enjoy!

I hadn’t played in 10 years and this was my wife’s first time playing. We were greeted by Chris in the Pro Shop and you couldn’t have asked for a nicer person to help us out after a long hiatus. The course is well maintained and reasonably priced. We’ll definitely be back for more soon! Thanks again to Chris!!

First time here and my experience was awesome! From the amazing customer service at the chck in desk, to the chipping and putting area. They have a grass range which is hard to find here in San Diego County. Robbie's customer service is second to none. Very friendly amd respectful. This guy knows great quality customer service. Will be returning again.

Pro-kids is life changing! If you have a child I would suggest you enroll them is this awesome Academic Program where they can learn how to golf. It's an after school program that's staff really cares about your child's well being and grades. They feed them lunch after school on to of help with homework. Depending how old your child is they have different days of the week you can sign them up for golf lessons. It's beautiful and they make life long friendships. It's like a summer camp all year long🤗

Best course in town by far in terms of price/availability/condition of course. Friendly staff and tee times available daily on a regular basis. Greens are almost always in great shape. recommend this course to anyone not looking to break the bank for a fun round of golf.

Great course for great price! Fairways were in good shape and greens ran true and were in great shape. $33 + $12 for a cart = fantastic deal. Drove down from San Clemente and it was an easy 30 minute commute. Will be adding this course to the rotation.

One of the best layouts in San Diego County. During the management of American Golf this course was butchered. Back then the employees were sub par, Fred Woods excluded (Great dude). Now that Bellows has been here a few years it has really improved. It took Bellows awhile but they brought in an ace groundskeeper and the greens are bar none some of the best and fastest in SD county. They recently started a slight redesign with ground cover and removed most of the bad sections in this course (should have removed more IMO).

The people working here are all good guys. I've never had a single problem with any of them. Fred Woods is the OG and a good instructor. All the counter guys are exceptional unlike the former employees of the past that were pretty much losers (Frank "The rumor" Chapman comes to mind, a chump).

This course is tight and tough but fun for all players (play fast). You'll love this layout. Tee areas still stink as of 5/2023

Love this place, home course. But range is super sandy up front where they have us right now hitting off grass. Very difficult to get a good rhythm. Hoping it firms up a bit once they move us back a bit. Edit: went back yesterday, conditions improved greatly.

The course was great had a good time shot a good score for me. Back 9 was tough with the wind. Got some history when Tiger woods played course when he was 15. What he did at that age was crazy. Would play again. Price was also good.

Course is in decent shape & clean! Plays to the skilled and the beginner golfer w/ challenging certain holes. Does NOT remind you of many municipal courses. Staff is friendly and accommodating. I have taken lessons to "up" and "tune-up" my game from Fred Wood & I can't say enough good things about him! The first and foremost admired factor was that he could see what I was good at and commenting on it & focusing on it! Heck, by the time we got to what I needed to work on, it was like it was just a little thing and would take a simple practice. And, IT WORKED! I walk onto the course now doing that little "camel-walk" Rory McIlroy has when things are going great! OK, I still need practice w/ the "fix-it" part, but I've got Fred's number on speed dial. 'Wanna play great golf & not be hammered with what you're doing WRONG?

Decent shape, many dog legs. Challenging. Good place for after work or twilight, can get crowded on weekends, very affordable rates. Staff are great, bar is well-outfitted.

Greens and fairways are in great shape. We played 9 with a start at 10:30 and never were rushed. The starter is helpful and the snack bar makes great sandwiches and has cold draft. Perfect day!

I play here for school and everyone is so nice!
