This is a really fun spot! I’ve never been to an executive course and had so much fun. It’s a blast with friends, and such cool vibes. Coming from a pro, this place is cool.

The vibe is amazing, the range is great, the greens are solid and the course is interesting. We went off at 8am and were done at noon with a beverage stop at the turn. Will play again next time I’m in town.

Goat Hill is awesome. Great test of golf. It is necessary to hit shots with both different shapes as well as trajectories. The greens are amazing. John and the team have done a fantastic job. Great vibe!!!

Great place to practice putting, and some chipping, with a nice view. I have played the course years ago, but I just come by mostly for a peaceful bit of practice. Have a picnic! See some local wildlife. There is a nice driving range too⛳🏌‍♂

Man, what a refreshing golf experience. I booked earlier in the week and got the first tee time 5:50am. Figured I’d be paired with 3 others but ended up being just me (which honestly I prefer unless it’s people I know). The course played great, greens were pristine, holes were challenging and creative. Pace was great because there was nobody but the grounds keeping staff in front of me. Goat Hill has great vibes, very trendy and seems like a cool place to have a beer after a twilight round….which will be in my near future I’m sure. Would highly recommend this short, challenging course!

If you appreciate a place that’s just great for the game, tee it up at Goat Hill. Greens in great shape. Yeah it’s short but still a great test of shotmaking.

Goat Hill is a friendly, economical, relaxed, fun golfing experience. State of the art, brand new driving range is gorgeous. The clubhouse sits atop the hill affording wonderful views of the ocean and neighboring holes. The course is challenging, lots of blind shots and lots of steep elevation changes. Greens in great shape and fairways are reasonable. There are some holes are forgivingly wide, but some par 3 holes require the golfer to really thread the needle. Hole 5 has to be one of the toughest in the county— it’s built into the side of a cliff. Overall a great experience with friendly people.

One of my favorite places to play in all of San Diego County. It's only a par 65 but it's a stern test of anyone's game. Greens are usually in great shape and the course continues to see improvements all of the time. It's also a great deal. If you have smaller kids, they can play the "Playground" which are 3-holes that are 40, 30, and 60 yds respectively. Free for kids under 16. The range is in great shape too. And who doesn't love great golf course merch. Their small but packed shop is full of goodies. If you're there on the weekend, make sure you order some hot dogs. They are amazing!

Had a great time, I went in as a single got paired up with some good players, the course is looking really good, they had just done the greens I'm going to say a couple weeks ago so they were a little bumpy but not extremely bad The ball tracked well enough.

A great day and dog friendly! Covid-responsible requiring masks in common areas and golfers well spaced out. Fun and will return👍👍

What a great course. It's a tough one that requires some degree of accuracy to enjoy yourself between the rolling hills and valleys. Also th greens when I went were pretty slow but the rumor was they would be cut for the weekend, went to s Thursday spark golf league. Greens were still enjoyable even though they were a bit long. Definitely some course construction going on but not too bad. I'll be back at least weekly going forward I imagine as this is a great course to play. Especially nice for being public.

We absolutely love this course! The employees all know us by name and remember conversations we've had. The course is beautiful and rough at the same time, yet this is coming from someone who fails at golfing. They have a golf simulator and the kids love killing zombies with balls. It is such a nice place

I was in Oceanside on vacation and played at Goat Hill last week. I absolutely loved the place. I understood beforehand that it is a short course and that it doesn't purport to be anything upscale, so I wasn't expecting anything fancy. What I got was better. The atmosphere is totally laid back and inviting to all. The course is incredibly interesting and charming as it winds through the hills and valleys. It is also equal parts playable and challenging for the average golfer. Greens were in great shape. Can't wait to play there again the next time I'm in Oceanside.

Normally don't write reviews - but stopped in to play after hearing about Xander donating some money here and LOVED this little gem. The starter was on top of everything and they actually LIKE GOLFERS HERE! It's a par 65, but you better have your short irons and putter dialed in. a couple of holes were being worked on, so you had to drop in the fairway. lots of positive changes coming.

What a fun place! Super-friendly staff too. Wasn't very crowded and the course was in good shape. Holes were mostly in the 280 - 300 range but because of the hills, it was very challenging. Greens were in great shape as well. I bought a Groupon but their regular rates are very reasonable. Highly recommend.
