I just want to publicly thank AdvocacySD and Nicole for helping me through one of the most difficult times of my life. She was kind, extremely knowledgeable and super supportive and beyond the work she personally did she also directed me to a lawyer who was also excellent. Although I hope no one finds themselves in the situation I was in, if you have Nicole advocating for you it will make it that much easier to deal with and get though. I cannot recommend her more highly.

Nicole went to bat for us big time! AdvocacySD was able to support us through a full appeal process. We were blind without their guidance and we are so grateful for the support in dealing with school and district personnel.
Nicole was able to get our kiddo an IEP based on her social and emotional need while at school. I would recommend their services to anyone trying to help their child battle the school system!

Nicole is amazing!! As both a School Counselor and Parent I can't speak highly enough about Nicole and her work. I entered into the IEP Process with my son upset with the school, not only about the lack of services that were supposed to be offered to him, but also with how they were tracking my son. Nicole stepped in and ensured that my son received the services he should have had awhile ago and also made sure that he continues to receive them. She is always available for phone calls or emails when I have questions or need to discuss an issue. Nicole is very professional and knowledgeable in meetings. She knows her stuff and is the ultimate professional through and through. I cannot speak highly enough about her and her services. Nicole was amazing in helping us advocate for our son. We were first-time parents entering and encountering a school district, and we felt unsupported by them. Nicole was nice and reassured us that we had the right to fight for our son and that my son has all the right to a Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE). Her skills and abilities were able to get the school to provide my son with a support plan to help him succeed and to allow him time to adapt to a new environment such as TK. My son is now thriving and excelling, thanks to her help. Nicole's work ethic and effectiveness were very impressive and gave us peace of mind. Nicole was the best Special Education advocate my son ever had. She was direct, fierce and effective in getting the school district to admit they were violating my son's IEP. Her skills and abilities were able to get my son compensation for services the school never provided to him. I only wish I hired Nicole during the Elementary School years, because my son would have had services the school refused to provide during that time period. My son graduated from High School two days ago and I am so grateful that he had Nicole fighting for him until the very end. Her work ethic and effectiveness were very impressive. I highly recommend her to parents that struggling with their children's needs not being met.

Advocacy SD did a great job in battling for my son to get the special education services that he qualified for. Advocacy SD had the school district conduct assessments on my son to get him the accommodations that he needed to be successful and fought diligently to construct an IEP that my son can use to continue his educational pursuits post High School graduation. My son and I highly recommend Advocacy SD!

My husband found AdvocacySD by a Google search and after speaking to Nicole for about 10 minutes I didn't bother reaching out to anyone else. My son was getting all F's and the school was making the most minor changes to correct it. They were not helping at all. The 1st email that advocacy SD sent to his school listed off at least 10 things that they were doing wrong. Within a matter of months his IEP was completely modified. It was a great learning experience with a positive outcome working with this company.

AdvocacySD has been fighting for my daughter's rights for a long time now. They are kind and knowledgeable and never back down. They are having to deal with a lot with my daughter's district but their communication is always open and clear. The only reason I removed a star is because of the cost. As a single mom working two full-time jobs just to support my family, these services are a lot of money...and the more my daughter's district screws up, the more it costs me.
