The Cottage Garden

Celia and Barbara are experienced, loving, and attentive caregivers. They have created a magical, child-centered place that feels like a second home. We sent our daughter to The Cottage Garden as her first out of home experience. We felt confident leaving her and she felt secure staying there without us. Her imagination, creativity, and language skills grew tremendously. She developed a love for singing, dancing, and story telling. They serve nutritious food that the children enjoy. I repeat: they provide meals! The Cottage Garden is wonderful!

We absolutely love the Cottage Garden and can’t recommend it enough! Our daughter spent two wonderful, magical years with Celia and Barbara when she was 2 and 3. The warmth, love, care, attention, and nurturance they give the children are beyond compare. The children play, frolic outside, sing, chop vegetables, eat healthy food together as a “family,” listen to stories, and snuggle up for cozy naps. It’s the warmest and most loving environment you could want for your child.

Barbara and Celia are incredible! Wonderful caregivers with decades of experience. They set and manage expectations appropriately with children and parents alike. Plus the children absolutely love the food they provide, the stories they tell, the songs they sing... all of it.

The Cottage Garden is a home away from home for the children. Celia and Barbara co-create a nourishing environment that inspires and engages the multi-intelligences of the head, heart, and hands. This profound ethos of child development is vital in the act of supporting younger generations in an embodied and heart centered sense of self and togetherness.

Many wonderful things have been said about The Cottage Garden and I agree with them all, but one extra thing I want to emphasize is the community. When you entrust your child in the hands of Barbara, Celia, Susan and their supporting staff, you are also making lifelong connections with other parents who are likely to share your commitment and approach to parenting. The sum total is a community that truly helps you as parents to support and nurture your kiddo(s).

My wife called to inquire about part-time programming and the woman that answered was extremely cold and dismissive. We understand if you have no openings but why be so cold?!

Glad they don't have openings because we wouldn't want to join.
