Great food and service. This was our first meal in Chincoteague and compared all other restaurants to Don’s! New England Clam Chowder was the best we’ve had in awhile and the soft shell crab was SO good! Can’t wait to come back in the future!

Angie was our server and she was very knowledgeable and attentive. She answered questions we had and was just great. The food was excellent. I had the fried shrimp with rice and Broccoli.

Seafood was delicious, staff friendly and fun. We eat here every time we are here. Roasted oysters and steamed crab dinner was amazing!

It was one of few restaurants that were open during off-season, and it was packed. They played live music on 2nd floor and the helpers were very kind.
I ordered seafood steamed platter, quantity wise it was big! A cluster of stone crab, a cluster of snow crab, about a half dozen of clams, oysters, half pound shrimps, and two side! Quality-wise, I liked it! It wasn't the best seafood, but very good seafood.
Also when we get there, there was certain dishes on sale (50%!), it made the steamed seafood platter really good deals.

Michelle, our server, was the best. We were down to two choices...she's a great help. Had the smothered Toasties (ong fantastic choice)and peach colada to start. Then she brought warm rolls...yum. Smothered flounder with sides. Did the meal for two. Could not do dessert...too full! Great place and Michelle was great too!! Started taste testing before pictures.

This was my second visit and will definitely not be my last.
Reasonable prices, friendly staff and excellent seafood! The crab dip and smothered fish were amazing!! Try to sit upstairs for a great view of the water.

I enjoyed a very pleasant meal here for dinner. The manager of the hotel recommended another seafood restaurant, but I'm glad I stopped here. The waitress was very friendly and the service was prompt. I started with raw oysters on the half shell and they were so tasty, fresh and sizable. Then I moved on to broiled fish with a crab shrimp topping which was wonderful. I had no room for dessert because the portions were generous and I ate every bit. Would definitely go back here.

Parking was bit of a challenge but we did find a spot. The food was great as was the service. We sat upstairs which you could see the water from our table.

I was disappointed over the Smith Island Cake slice. It didn’t taste like it was from scratch but ingredients from a boxed cake mix. The frosting didn’t taste homemade either as there was a lot of sugar grit which comes from store bought frosting.

However, the rest of the meal was amazing and our waitress was very kind! She was also very hard working too.

Five stars for food. I had the oysters based off a local’s recommendation for the freshest oysters in town. They were absolutely delicious. We also had the fish of the day which tasted amazing, and the seafood Alfredo. The live music the night we went was terrific. The service was great.

This is a must! Go early or make reservations. Perfectly cooked Rock Fish. Upstairs seating has a nice view. Good portions and great service. Only downside was the Smith island cake had been refrigerated so it was kinda of hard, dry and the frosting was crystallized. Only thing I'd not recommend.

Good seafood place. Had the fish of the day and steamed oysters. Was all cooked perfectly. I ate in the lounge which was a bit dim. Staff were attentive and served the food quickly.

Came from the recommendation of our b&b and it did not disappoint! Teresa was our server and she was amazing, got the blackened drum fish and blackened scallops and the flavor was phenomenal!! Also got a side of the cream of crab soup and its flavor was great with a good amount of crab in it!!

We arrived just before opening and barely had to wait for seating. It filles up very quickly. Get there early unless you want to wait for 45 minutes. All the servers were courteous and attentive. I do have to say that the hostess (white red haired lady) wasn't as welcoming as the rest of the staff. Thankfully we didn't have to deal with after being seated. The food was soooo good. The stuffed shrimp are THE BOMB! The raw oysters seemed relatively fresh. Definitely can see why it's so busy. We went on a Saturday afternoon before Mother's Day 2021. Would definitely go again if in the area.

Great place to eat on the island. Kids meals have great portions at really good prices. Lots of good seafood options. Our waitress explained so much to us! She was so nice yet professional.

Was in the mood for seafood and Don's did not disappoint. Pricing was fair, service was great and it was delicious.

I had the steamed seafood platter while my wife had the smothered flounder. Hers was tasty. Mine had a good combination along with a pile of shrimp. It was steamed to perfection so that the crab meat was moist and flavorful. One of the best seafood meals we've had in a while.

Would definitely go back again.

The food here is absolutely delicious. I had the Prime Rib melt sandwich and my wife had the fish and chips for lunch.
The prime rib was tender and so flavorful.
The flounder was served as two huge pieces. For an appetizer we had the steamed shrimp seasoned with Old Bay seasoning. We enjoyed the food here so much we came back for dinner.
We had the Roasted Garlic clams which were amazing and the steamed shrimp again. The third time here, we had lunch here. We had the Seafood Dream which consisted of broiled scallops and shrimp smothered with mozzarella cheese. It was excellent.
This restaurant has two levels both of which have large dining areas. The upper level has beautiful views of the bay. It is very clean and the staff is friendly. Prices are very reasonable, especially for fresh seafood. They also serve cocktails and beer.

The food was fantastic and the customer service was impeccable. I have a lot of food allergies and they were able to make accommodations easily. One of the best meals I have ever had. Wish I lived close enough to come more often.

I had the heap of oysters and they were delicious. Every thing that was steamed today was half price. Good deal. The green beans didn't have much flavor. The rolls, apples, and sweet tea was good, and the cherry pie was delicious because it was warmed. Everyone else in my party enjoyed their meals, too.

We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and had our baby in a stroller with us. We were unsure if we could be seated at 8:30PM since they close at 9PM, but the hostess was so nice and we were seated immediately. Our server was so attentive with us, and let me just say the food was SO good! The crab soup was on point. It was our first time coming here, but I know we’ll definitely have to come back. :)
