Sogongdong Tofu House

One of my favorite dishes of all time, Pork Bibimbap! So much flavor and food. I ordered this every time I'm in Frederick, MD.

by far the best korean food ive had so far!! i arrived 10 minutes after closing (without noticing the time) and everyone was so kind. the food i wanted was $15 but i only had $10 in cash so they worked with what i had and served me their new yubu. it was AMAZING! the sauce on top was incredible and the side dishes were also really good. i love that it was a variety of different meats so you got a little taste of everything. i will definitely be coming back soon. i might have found my new favorite dish!

Very good Korean food if you want a quick bite to eat in the food court, highly recommend!

While inside H-Mart, visiting the food court to order a meal is an option even for those not wanting to shop for groceries. That said, it is common for grocery shoppers to eat before or after their errands.

As one of several food options in the grocery food court, Sogongdong offers quality choices to which are good-tasting and priced fairly. Orders are completed quickly as well.

Recently had a chance to dine here during a business trip and I must say, the food and service was exceptional. As a Korean who lives in heavily Korean populated area back in NY/NJ, I really could not taste any “difference” in the taste of the food and I’d go further to say the quality is far better than most of the tofu houses back in NY/NJ area. Since I will be traveling often to Frederick, definitely will be back to try different menus. Even my non-Korean coworkers had only good things to say about this place and to me, that says a lot. Hope to be back soon!

I went here for the first time and I definitely highly recommend visiting! For people wanting to taste and experience Korean food, this is the restaurant to go! I usually don’t write reviews, but on top of the food, the owner was very kind. This place made my day! 👍🏻

It was a happy surprise to see an H Mart in Frederick, MD. An even better surprise to see So Gong Dong Tofu House at this location. As someone who lives in NJ/NY area where there are plenty of Korean restaurants, I was impressed with the taste. The seasoning for the spicy kimchi tofu and LA ribs were exceptional. Everything tasted clean and the service was warm and welcoming. Although I don't live near in MD, I travel around the area for work. When I'm back in Frederick and have a craving for Korean food, I know where to go!

I love tofu food so much. I especially love the soft tofu food. So, no matter which state I go to, the food I always eat without exception is the soft tofu food. Especially when I go to Maryland, I definitely go here. It's clean and all the staff are friendly, so it's a comforting place for me when I'm tired from work.

This restaurant food is very authentic and less MSG in there food. I’m very picky eater and I don’t mind driving far to find a good restaurant. If you looking for an authentic and traditional Korean food? This place should be the one that you looking for. I’m so thankful that I live close from here in Frederick. This place is definitely hidden jewel. Do not under estimated because it’s located inside of H-mart food court and it’s in Frederick. It’s by far tasty and savory than any other Korean restaurants in MD and owner is very friendly and always give us more side dishes and other daily special food without asking. Again, just try out once without doubt. You will not regret it. Especially Seafood Tofu Kalgooksoo noodle(thick noodle) soup and Stone Bibimbob with Beef. Yum!

If you craves for delicious Korean food? This is place you should try. Hot stone bibibop filled with veggies and meats of your choice, I got chicken. It was still sizzling when they served you. Staffs are very friendly. Tofu soup was delicious, I ordered seafood tofu soup and it will be perfect for the hangover. Food comes with side dishes and good portions and authentic Korean flavor. This is my place Togo.

This is one of the newest hidden gems in Frederick. The owner and his crew are wonderful! The food was really good. Their hot stone bibimbap was amazing. The Korean bbq kalbi were delicious. We will be back.

The food at the HMart court is amazing and one of the hidden gems in this area. I've tried dishes from each menu, and I want to try them all! It was refreshing to get such great quality food and takeout!

Really really craved some Korean food on my business trip and thankfully found here, bibimbop and kalbi with their soondooboo is top notch. Service is excellent and fast!!

If you want an authentic Korean meal, this is the place. Very tasty K food, lots of different menu, pretty decently priced as well.

The bibimbap is so delicious and it’s really authentic Korean food which is hard to find around here!

Bibimbap and soondubu are so good. I would def recomand to come here again.
