This place is awesome. Tons of planes all around, right off the runway. Great food, great atmosphere. They had turkey sausage as a replacement for pork sausage because I can't eat pork. It wasn't busy at all on a Friday morning at 7AM.

Really good food! Stephanie was my server and she was great, very friendly and efficient! I really like that the cafe is right on the runway so you can watch the airplanes take off. I unfortunately didn't get to see any because they weren't flying while I was there, but I will be back. Really good prices too.

Just the place we have been searching for. Mom and pop feel with fresh, hot food and an awesome view of the planes. This place is a hidden gem. Grab an order of fried dough, you won’t be disappointed.
Maria, our server, was super welcoming. Will be our net “go-to” spot for breakfast

Another great little find from my wife on our adventures with local restaurants. The Happy Hanger Cafe was delightful and welcoming on our visit. The prices and portions are really good and the food was amazing. We love breakfast and found this place to have a beautiful view and outdoor seating to watch the planes land and take off. We will be back on our next visit down to suncoast.

Phenomenal breakfast. Farm fresh eggs made to order, homemade corn beef hash and a killer cinnamon bun! Great service, too. Stephanie was awesome, making sure everything was perfect!

My wife found this place and we drove 45 minutes to take our 2 year old there for breakfast and he had such an awesome time. He is obsessed with airplanes and loved seeing them coming and going and he loved being able to get up close to some. The food was good, the staff was friendly and welcoming and the prices were reasonable! Will definitely be going back soon! It's well worth the drive!!

Great food. Good prices. The plates serve has very good portion. The menu has a lot of different options. The serve breakfast, brunch and lunch. I love to bring my kids here as they have the opportunity to see some planes and take photos as well. The employees are very nice. The only thing that I see that can improve is the coffee, it should be more strong.

Saw great reviews for this place, so we decided to check it out for breakfast. The food was great, service was quick and friendly in spite of the place being packed. She had the special pineapple upside down pancakes, and I had the Huge Hangar Breakfast and all were great. Mine was a great deal, but the pancakes were quite expensive for pancakes at $15 with no sides.

This has been on my to do list since we moved from PA. Airports, hangers, flights and awesome food. This place is by far on my favorite list now. Anytime I’m heading to Tampa from Ridge Manor, this must be my stop. Feels like we are @PMRA Mt. Pocono PA. Thanks for a great experience and amazing meal.

What a cool place to eat breakfast! Here you can sit feet from the runways as planes takeoff & land, inside or outside. The food is spectacular & the service is awesome. This is a definite must do if you live in the Tampa area. Thanks guys

Always a great time having breakfast while watching the planes take off and land !! The corn beef hash is the go - to! Loved the searing right in front next to the hangar. On a Wednesday morning at 10am, there was quite a bit of activity on the airstrip! The owner of the airstrip made time to come by to chat and talked about the planes and a bit about the property ! Super friendly and fast service ! 😀

I just moved to Tampa a month ago and so far this is one of the best, if not the best, restaurant in the area! The servers were personable and friendly. The food was really good, especially their home cut fries. The fountain drinks were well mixed and ice cold. The atmosphere is super unique because it is literally in the middle of a small airport where you can see planes taking off and landing as you go in. I’d highly recommend this place if you want something a little off the beaten path.

So, its a little hard to locate at first because you actually have to go to the runway side to get in. But its worth hunt as not only is the food really tasty (like an old greasy-spoon diner) but the atmosphere was a completely unique experience. Small planes were coming in and out during the entire breakfast, even some people eating breakfast just got in thier planes and took off. We sat outdoors so we could experience the planes and the action up close. However, for those who prefer a quieter setting there is plenty of seating inside.
If I had to describe it I would say it's like being stage side at the Indian Jones Adventure at Disney but with great food, lol.

Come here for the experience, you’ll see planes taking off and landing while you enjoy a nice meal. Located on an actual hanger you get to interact with small aircraft. The food was decent, typical breakfast menu , corned beef hash gets special mention

As a lover of all things flight and pilot related, I'm a bit biased. But this really is a cool spot, especially if your kids love planes. Breakfast was a good, typical food. But the biscuits and jam. Holy bananas. You can tell they are made with love. The atmosphere is amazing and you can watch the single engines taking off or landing. They even offer discovery flights. Def recommend this spot!

Great food. Very fresh. Waitress was very good for our table of 12. Variety of menu options. Daily specials were very good. Everyone felt it was better than most of the normal restaurants plus was nice to watch the planes driving around.

Overall great experience. Our waitress was very friendly and nice with good recommendations. The atmosphere of being able to watch small planes fly in and out while enjoying your breakfast was great. We had a little bit of everything, including wings, biscuit and gravy, breakfast burrito, and the spitfire breakfast with crunchberry French toast upgrade. Breakfast burrito was one of the best in my whole life(I try bfast burritos everywhere), crunch berry toast could use more crunchberries but still delicious, the biscuit and gravy was seasoned perfectly, and the Chipotle ranch on the side was drinkable. The wings were good but kind of sweet for a medium buffalo and could be cooked a little longer for more crispness. I'd def recommend this place and hope to make it back one day.

I've been driving passed the sign on Wesley Chapel Blvd for years. I finally visited and I'm completely disappointed I didn't stop in earlier. The first time finding the place can be a bit tricky but well worth it. As soon as we opened the door we were instantly welcomed, asked what would we like to drink and said we could sit anywhere. The food was really good, the service was awesome and the view of the airplanes on the runway and in the hangars was a nice touch while eating lunch. To start off we had the home made chips with ranch dressing and it was out of this world! It was an enormous serving and we couldn't finish them. My son had the Rueben with fries and I had the patty melt with onion rings and it came with a very tasty sauce for the rings and mayo on the side instead of the traditional thousand island dressing. It was a nice twist because the patty melt also came with mushrooms.

A must stop!! Drive through a neighborhood of hangar houses to a café on a private airstrip to dine outside at the picnic tables on the porch, watching small aircraft take off and land. Our waitress was the happiest, most bubbly girl who absolutely loved our dog! Bring the kids and pets but come early; they get very busy, very quickly, even on weekdays. When you visit, you'll see why! ✈
