CBQ

We had the brisket sandwiches with Mac n cheese & coleslaw. The brisket was the most tender brisket I have ever had. The sides were great too! Six different BBQ sauces to choose from the mustard BBQ & honey BBQ were our favorite! Cashier takes your order she was super friendly & the restaurant is really well designed. Happy to have a great place for BBQ in Chesapeake Beach!

This is my first time there. I was craving some comfort food. I'm always skeptical with BBQ places because I hate being disappointed when it doesn't hit the spot. Looks good but lacks flavor. CBQ did not disappoint one bit. I ordered the brisket entree with green beans and Mac n Cheese. I even ordered an extra Mac cause I looked at the pics and seen those small cups. Well as you can see I couldn't even get to the second serving because I am stuffed. The food was flavorful and I'll definitely keep it on my go to list. Next time I'll take a pic before I dig in.

Stopped in for the first time today and loved everything about it!! Everyone was friendly and happy and the food was delicious. Had the smoked chicken sandwich with fries, baked beans, and cornbread. So much food that I could only eat half. Definitely going back soon!!

First time here and it's the best food in CB hands down. Pulled chicken, collards, macncheese and fries were all amazing. Loved the Carolina BBQ sauce. Cool atmosphere and friendly staff as well.

The staff and owner Mary were all a delight and our brisket sandwich was delicious. We even a got tour! We highly recommend and will definitely come back.

Not sure why they are rated so low. Got the baby back ribs meal and wife got the sliders. The ribs were great. Sandwiches were nice and moist. Fries delicious. Greens beans and corn bread were great. Little to no wait. Our server, Kiaa, was great. She was super busy but still found time for us. Highly recommend.

The place is brand new and very clean. Modern contemporary design which you don’t get much in the neighborhood..) Me and my husband we both love the food. The portions aren’t big but every bite is super delicious! From the buns in a sandwich till the meats it was so juicy and fresh. I got surprised with Mac & Cheese it is the best I have ever tried! You can feel those blends of real cheddars 💖. The customer service is good, those bad reviews down are don’t count that the place been opened only for about a week and all all its staff is brand new. Give people a chance, folks! 😁 The place is awesome

Went here for lunch, and the atmosphere and experience was great. The food was also very good, and the drinks were made with perfection. The bartender, Jordan was very nice & respectful. I definitely plan to come here a little more often to try out the other amazing options.

Place was very clean and well maintained. I know it's fairly new but a fact is a fact. Got pulled pork sandwiches , cucumber salad and collard greens. Pulled pork tasted good BBQ sauces were great. Very friendly and fast service.

Dried out or overcooked meats, slow service, understaffed? Cornbread is good, sauce selection is nice.

The restaurant is clean and you can dine in or take out. Staff is friendly and helpful. The food is okay.

well...we waited a looong time for this and it's not worth the wait. first dead giveaway is when you walk into a bbq joint and the open kitchen is a few feet away and you don't smell anything it's a bad sign. pulled pork was dry and unseasoned: seriously. smoked brisket was waaay too smokey(all black, no pink at all) and stringy, dry and tough. the cornbread was tiny but ok. the mac n cheese was bland and gluey. the coleslaw was good, small victory. the key lime pie was tiny and ok. ice tea had an off flavor from coffee cross contamination maybe. decor was ok. not too friendly staff....depressed perhaps? prices high as a bonus. if you want good bbq and huge portions drive to Pinky's about less than 10 minutes away. the 1936 grill in the rod and reel parking garage is pretty good. this place is lucky it has a captive audience of addicted gamblers or otherwise it would not last 2 years. food is supposed to be a loss leader when it's subsidized by easy money. i'll try their breakfast but not hopeful.

The brisket is over cooked and crumbles apart. No uniform slices and no smoke flavor. The ribs were dry and mac and cheese had no taste They need to adjust thier smoking method and figure out how to keep the proteins from drying out. In addition they need to train their staff who on how to utilize all of the high end equipment they use for cooking. For what they charge I was highly disappointed
