I am so happy with the service at this post office. They are so helpful and understanding. The postmaster is super communicative when my weekly delivery of live crickets arrive and needs to be picked up (live *anything* can't be left in mailboxes). I can't say enough good things about her and the rest of the staff.

I filled out a contact form online because some of my mother's mail was being forwarded to me accidentally. Keisha from the Huntingtown office reached out to me a few days later to help. She was polite, friendly, and helped make sure only the correct mail would be forwarded to me.

Mail delivered to the wrong house. Packages left on the side of the road at the end of my drive way. Notes left saying no one was home for a delivery even though we waited at home all day. Would NOT recommend.

This post office is not very good. Wish Sunderland still had it’s own.

It is horrible. Ever since all of the long term folks who worked there left, it's gone way downhill. We don't even get our mail delivered on some days. I know what the problem is, but you can't say because you'll be called a racist or sexist or something dumb like that.

This post office is by far the worst. The employees here offer minimum assistance or expertise and have the worst attitudes. I hate that I have to come here to pick up packages because I can't trust them to deliver important ones. Do yourself a favor and go to Dunkirk post office for your shipping and mailing needs they are incredibly more helpful and nicer.

This office had a staff change some years ago and has been providing HORRIBLE service ever since. Today (1/11/23) they crammed a package into my mailbox so tightly I had to struggle to get it out. One another occasion I had to cut up a box in the post box to get it out. I guess I have no other option now but to write a detailed complaint to the postmaster general demanding action!!!

Mail delivery has been terrible from this post office. I often get other people’s mail delivered to my address and often never receive my packages and other mail that should come to me. Who knows where my mail gets delivered to. When I asked them where a particular package was (that said delivered in the system) the answer given was “it’s not here, so I don’t know”. Very poor customer service. I have also had credit cards not delivered as well. Once I received a credit card that was sent six months before I received it. If you have a problem please complain to them. Let them know they have a problem so they can fix it. If enough people complain maybe they will do a better job!

I would like to know why the Postal Service will not deliver packages to my front door???? I have a garage and that is no excuse for them to just drop a package at the garage and not at my front door. I had a packaged delivered today 6/18/15 that was full of Chocolate Bars and in this heat they needed to be taken care of right away and out of the heat. I work from HOME and there is no reason why they couldn't have brought the package to the front door and rang the BELL. THIS IS VERY POOR SERVICE WHERE THE POSTAL SERVICE IS CONCERN!!!! PLEASE BRING MY PACKAGES TO MY FRONT DOOR SINCE I DO HAVE ONE!!!

I've lived in a lot of different states , this office is quite possibly the most problematic.
When it comes to mail it's often mis delivered .

But the real kicker is the mishandling of packages, packages left outside the garage in the rain because the person is too lazy to walk to the covered porch , or simple launching them on to the porch because the two steps are too difficult to climb .
USPS are the only ones who do this, perfect record with all other package carriers so far.

I'm a disabled vet and my med's have been "Pending Acceptance" here since Christmas Eve... today is January 6th! I can also echo many of the mishandling of packages as reported by other dissatisfied customers. This post office - like their nearby distribution centers in D.C., Capitol Heights, & Waldorf to name a few - are all horribly run despite COVID. Get it together!

Huntingtown used to be one of the BEST post offices in the county. Now they're indifferent and inefficient at best. Whenever I walk in there, nobody is in sight to assist customers at the counter. You have to call out into the back and wait for someone to slowly shuffle up front to wait on you (8 minutes yesterday). Even more disturbing was the fact that I could have walked off with dozens of packages that were piled all over the counter and no postal employee would have known!!!!

I have not had a good experience with this post office since moving to Huntingtown. Sometimes they leave my package in front of my garage with the mail bundled on top. Another time I ordered my daughter an apple watch for her birthday and it did not fit in the mailbox and was left on the ground bellow the mailbox on a busy road. UNACCEPTABLE! This last time has pushed me over the edge. I was waiting for a package on Friday in which I was home all day and I checked the tracking and it said it was a "failed attempt at 11:18 and note was left" mind you no note was left and the post office closed at 430 and was closed due to holiday on Saturday. I needed it this weekend! I am not sure what the problem is but hope it gets resolved.

This place honestly needs to shut down.. Worst service ever, from customer service to receiving other people’s mail in my box. Packages I pay extra for to get on time for events always get returned to sender. THE WORST!!!

The woman working today rolled her eyes when I asked which stamps are available. Will never come back here again.
