Mossbacks Island Grill and The Fishbowl Bar

What a fun bar and grill! Highly recommended for the live music and beverages on the left side and great food on the right side in the restaurant. We had so much fun that we went two days in a row. The musicians and bar staff were outstanding! You have to do the shark shots as they were so much fun as a group. On the restaurant side we had the walleye bites and yellow perch sandwiches minus the buns. So fresh and tasty!

The best Walleye Filet I have ever had! I had the Walleye Basket, and it was most excellent. My wife is Polizh and ordered the Brats and Perogis. She was Not Disappointed! Great service and excellent food.

Great restaurant with nice vibe and good food. The live music was really good although I felt it was a bit loud. Everything else was perfect.

Great food and ambience. Was not as crowded as other restaurants but its the best in the area. Try their grilled chicken sandwich.

It is right in front of the boardwalk. I ordered a perch plate. Surprisingly huge amount, had some leftover to take out, tastes super fresh and delicious!

Place was very good. Sauerkraut Balls were AWESOME, a must have. The pierogies were light and delicious. The Onions rings and coleslaw… they make them themselves - a must have. A friend ordered the perch and said it was good; “they don’t over batter the fish.” Our server (easy on the eyes with nice eyes 😉) personable & attentive. We didn't eat here but the fishbowl was very tasty!! The bartender was friendly and the whole place had a positive vibe!!

Off season so there was no wait. We were promptly seated with a view of the "harbor".
Best perch on the island! Perfectly lightly breaded and fried to a crispy crunch but delicate inside! Portions are generous.

We came for lunch on our first day on the island, and we were definitely not disappointed! Their burgers are unique and delicious, and our fries and onion rings were probably some of the best we've ever had! I typically am not a big drinker, but I could drink their orange creamsicle cocktail all day long. It was delicious! The price for food was average for a touristy island, and the quality and quantity of food definitely made it feel like we got our money's worth. I DO wish we would have ordered the sauerkraut balls. They sound delicious.

We were debating were to eat today, when a couple came out and said get the walleye fish nuggets, and my husband got the walleye and perogie dinner. We enjoyed the food, fish not over breaded and the taste was amazing. Will return when we get back.

Fish Bowl has been around for as long as I can remember visiting PIB every year. The actual "fish bowl" drink is a staple and what I usually go there for. Small fish bowls are $12 and plenty for 1-2 people. The last couple years Kayla has been the usual bartender and she's really awesome. Fun place that has it's own personality, especially since they remodeled a couple years ago.

Amazing food, nice staff. The perch here is to die for. I would definitely recommend eating here if you are a tourist, or a resident of Put-in-Bay.

Best perch and burgers on the island. Leah was outstanding. Michala's carrot cake is a must.

Love this place. The atmosphere and the food are both very good. Always happy with the fried food from here (onions rings and fish). Always light and crispy. Seems like the keep the oil nice and clean from the lack of grease and no flavor cross contamination. Hope they keep up the great work!

10/10 would highly recommend - Mossback is the premier pick for in my opinion the best perch & walleye on the island of PIB, they have great burger & smadwhiches as well. Jonesy our server was very courteous, staff was very polite & hospitable. Atmosphere is very family or business oriented. If you're traveling with more of a party crowd, the Fishbowl is right next door. 😉
