Waterworks Park

It's so beautiful and relaxing here. You can sit on the beach area or swim/wade in the water. The states and small light house is neat. There are small little shells and people fish there as well. We loved walking out on the rock pier as well. It's a bit spooky but so fun. Definitely a place to check out if u like relaxing. Also, there are restaurants near by, a ball field and a small park.

The place is closed and gone. Only the beautiful gate and stairs are available. The live behind a fence and no access. Best to view real early as sun will be in eyes to view after 10 am. Plenty of street parking.

Absolutely stunning. Will definitely be back for seashell hunting.

Very nice and well maintained park. This is also the home of the Port Clinton Lighthouse.
Besides the lighthouse, the park has a small pond with a trail around it for birdwatching, a small and clean sandy beach, ball field, benches and picnic tables.
This was a great park to take a break and walk along the beach and along the river banks.
There is also a Lake Erie Love sign that is a perfect picture spot!
Again... well worth stopping by!

Beautiful park on Lake Erie. This is must stop with the Port Clinton lighthouse and the lighthouse worker and dog statue here as well. Don't muss the I love Lake Eris sign here as well. No cost at all to visit!!

This is a great city park, and beach area! There is a long somewhat narrow but mostly sandy beach here. There is a ton of parking in several places nearby. There is a small lighthouse, a paved walking trail, a playground, and lots of benches and picnic tables. This is one of my favorite beaches in Ohio.

Great place for a family visit. Sit by the lake of 100 miles and listen to the beautiful beach sounds to multiply your wealth.

Nice little park for a walk, beach access area and the bid watching trail inside it. I've visited during the early summer and the park wasn't crowded at all. I was actually surprised on it. The beach area was clean, nice and the benches close to the beach was a huge plus just to dry ourself. I just felt that the beach access area was small but that would be a big concern when the area is crowded. I'll recommend this place and will visit again.

Okay dude straight up this spot was freaking amazing I loved it! From the beach to the lighthouse it was incredible and super fun I loved it. It didn't feel like I was in ohio this area felt like a vacation even though it isn't far from my door step at all.

This was a suprise jewel during our trip to Port Clinton. Even though the access to the light house was closed because we were there after Labor Day, the site was informative and fun. There is lots of good seating and a bird trail. The weather was perfect, and it was enjoyable to drift back into the days of lighthouses lit with kerosene lamps

The Walleye Festival in May at Waterworks Park is tons of fun - and the shoreline of the park is gorgeous at sunset!

Very people and pet friendly . A great place to see replicas of history. Restrooms on the way soon.

Kid friendly with a nice swimming area and plenty of shell hunting to do as you watch boats come and go.

A good place to do some walking. They have a long beach to walk on plus paved pathways and a pier to walk out on. Picnic tables and benches for resting too. I'm so glad we found this place

Didn't plan to come here, we accidentally came to the area and found a gem! A very relaxing area, nice small beach and a lighthouse! Tours were closed when we arrived. But we still had a nice visit

We've been here several times this summer. It's a great day trip. We love it. Nice clean restrooms and a outdoor shower to rinse off the extra sand. It's always been clean and friendly. Great family area including pets.

Love it, we love the new walk way they put in, you can watch the jet express come in and go out, you can fish too, we ordered on line our lunch from jolly rogers and picked it up at the window, done some fishing too

The area is nice for a stroll on the beach. There are benches for sitting. Spots for fishing and the view is fantastic. The wetlands provides wildlife and the beach is long and all sand.
