YES. This is the small hidden breakfast gem you're looking for when visiting Port Clinton. Food is homemade, fresh, and delicious. Service is homey and efficient. You'll witness wait staff greeting locals by name and you don't have a long wait between ordering and receiving food.

Good traditional breakfast spot. Blueberry pancakes were well done. Nice and fluffy. They feature a very nice sausage patty that I always get.

I don't know who was on the grill this morning. My breakfast was fantastic. We will be back. "Eggs, Sourdough Toast, and Corned Beef Hash"

Best breakfast I've had in a long time. The corned beef hash was delicious even though it wasn't house-made, the pancakes were fluffy and light and the home fries were crispy and soft perfect. Friendly staff, fast service, great atmosphere.

Hungry and looking for a breakfast place, we found this place and got the breakfast jackpot! Arriving at a busy time or name was taken outside, and we had to wait maybe 10 minutes.

The server came right over and had hot coffee on the table in less than a minute. I ordered the sausage omelet, which was excellent. The home fries I ordered as a side were spectacular! In fact, maybe the best I've ever had in a restaurant.

My wife had sausage gravy and a giant pancake. She said both were excellent.

Had the Mexican omelet, very good.!! And excellent friendly service. I added sour cream and salsa on top. Edit, came back for the blueberry pancake, eggs and home fries.! Delish.!!

Best breakfast and fantastic service! My husband and I enjoy the hand pressed sausage patty and home fries. They also have great homemade desserts. Coffee cake is my favorite Don't forget the delicious bloody Marys... Best in the area. Not a meal on a stick but a delicious bloody Mary in the right price range. For lunch they also have a great selection of sandwiches and soups.

The blueberry pancakes were delicious and our waitress Chris was Awesome 👍

This place is fantastic. Has a diner feel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The portions are large, but the prices are very reasonable. You can ask the staff questions and they will help with ordering. They have a very nice variety of omelets. I had tried a biscuit gravy breakfast that was on the menu it was excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

There was a small craft advisory on Lake Erie in the morning on May 17th, so we decided to find someplace to eat breakfast. Finally hit the jackpot finding Ala Carte Cafe. The food was very good, at a great value, with even greater service. It's not a big place, so if you get there and can't be seated right away this place is worth the wait. We'll be back when we return for our next walleye hunt. Kudos to everyone at Ala Carte Cafe. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Actually, all the breakfast food we ordered was hot, delicious, and a good sized portion. And the service was genuinely friendly! And the prices are very reasonable! Can't recommend more.

We enjoyed the friendly service and the food was excellent. Everything was homemade & hot from the kitchen.

It was a busy Sunday morning, the owner did an amazing job getting people seated in an extreme timely manner.
The food was most certainly worth eating multiple times. Therefore we highly recommend this place and we will most definitely frequent, even if it is 1 hr and 15 min drive for us.

And the service was top notch.

Excellent low-key all day restaurant! From the excellent breakfast, tasty wings and dinner specials it can't be beat! Located in Port Clinton ( not paying an arm & leg) prices are on par
