The Porch

We stopped in for drinks and apps before dinner and had a great time. The atmosphere was so fun. The drinks were strong and there was a big selection. We got the pretzel, which was nice and soft. The mustard was a regular yellow, not a stone ground, so it gives baseball game, which didn't fit the atmosphere, but was alright. The cheese sauce was good.

We stopped in for a beer, and I can speak for the menu, but everything else was great. There were games on all of the high TVs, and the general atmosphere was really great. You can tell it gets a little different the later it gets, with bubble machines mounted over the bar etc.. Great time!

The porch was a unique experience. There were plenty of games on the patio and they have swingset tables. It does get pretty busy so check Yelp or Google for the off hours (or you'll likely wait awhile to get a porch swing table).
The bar was massive with tons of TVS so it's a great place to watch sporting events.
Every meal we ordered was BEYOND INCREDIBLE. My kids and I highly recommend this restaurant and will be back to try some of the dishes we weren't able to try this time. (There were some tough decisions when it came to choosing our food). One of the best spots in downtown Gilbert.

The besties and I checked this place out on a Tuesday around 6-6:30 and I was surprised we were seated immediately (with a group of 4 too). Usually downtown Gilbert is hopping no matter the time or day. Our waitress was super friendly and accommodating. At the end of the meal, she asked us if we wanted to have all separate checks and if we wanted to split the mozzarella sticks among the four of us. Literally a queen who read our minds!

On to the food, we ordered mozzarella sticks as an appetizer - phenomenal. 10/10 cheese pulls with thick batter and tasty marinara sauce. The entrees ordered included grilled cheese, a panini, quesadilla, and forbidden rice. I was intrigued by black rice so I was the one who got the forbidden rice. Upon reading “sesame lime sauce” on the menu, I wasn’t expecting it to be as spicy as it was. By the end of what I could finish, my tongue was numb and my sinuses were certainly cleared. I can’t handle much spice lol. However, it was really flavorful. The broccoli was cooked enough and the actual rice was nice. Everyone else really liked their dishes too. The display of the dish was so cool too; the takeout box coming alongside the rice is genius. My friend ordered the jungle juice cocktail and she loved it.

The atmosphere is great. The service is quick. The food is delicious. Highly recommend this place.

My wife and I were looking for a place to have dinner in downtown Gilbert and came across this joint. game was on, food is good, and the service was amazing. Destin took care of us and made the experience. We’ll be back for sure!

This was such a fun restaurant. We sat at an outside dining picnic table. My only complaint is the amount of sauce on the burger made the bun soggy.

This is my 2nd time going. We went for happy hour and LOVED it! Jess was amazing ❤ Went on a Saturday night last time, loved the live DJ and drinks are always yummy!

All I can say is: wow

This place is absolutely amazing! My wife and I came here as we were walking around downtown Gilbert (we live right by it) and decided to stop in.

First thing is the appearance of the place, it’s really unique but it fits in really well for the area. I know my wife and I are going to love coming here on the weekends.

As for the drinks, holy moly they were good. Great drinks specials too! Brunch special was a Bottle of Prosecco, Champagne or for $15 or Chandon for $30. We opted for the Chandon and loved it. Later on, I ordered the coco puffs drink and loved it so much that my wife got one too.

On to the food, absolutely incredible. We ordered the breakfast burrito with green chili and the waffle tenders. I’m not going to lie, the breakfast burrito is the best I’ve ever had. The waffle tenders are no joke either. They taste like a waaaay better chicken nugget dipped in honey.

Service was great as well. Didn’t have any issues getting what we needed, when we wanted it!

Hopefully this place stays exactly how it is, because I’ll come often if so!

Monday Night Football!!!

Well when you need to just get out of the house and ignore that first day back to work with some good times and football no better place than hitting the porch!!

Sat at the bar wide screens and super screen so there is no bad seat in the place.

Service was amazing

Decided to keep it simple with the super platter

Now I’ll be real it’s a bit much for husband and wife catching the second half of the game but if you are three or more people and in for the full ride then this is the starter to go with!!

Always have to have the game shot ritual and we went with Jack fire chilled to help lower the fire!!

Wife chased it back with a very well prepared old fashion!!!

All in all hit the porch next time you want to enjoy a Monday Night Football game you will love the place!!

Three of us went for dinner on a Tuesday night and sat outside (would love to try the tables with the swings if I wasn't so sure all my food would end up on my lap). My friend was so pleased with her lettuce-wrapped burger and the huge amount of side of broccoli. Unfortunately, I asked for no jalapenos in my bowl and when it came, there were jalapenos. The manager came by to check on our food and I barely had the words out of my mouth and it was taken away and corrected very promptly. I've never had such fast service. Would totally go back there again!

Hot new restaurant in Gilbert! The decor is really amazing and there is a happy vibe. Food prices very reasonable, and everything was delicious. Our server Amy was the best we have had anywhere for a long time. The restaurant was quite crowded and I can see why. Check out this place out of in the area. You won't be disappointed!

Nice outdoor seating, staff were friendly and good hospitality. Good portion with good prices. This green chili pork stew was yummy. First try was great, would like to go back to try something else :)

Fun atmosphere! Awesome vibe. Food is great ordered the little trouble is Shanghai and the porch burger 5 stars as well as the customer service from Holly she was amazing 👏

We came here on a busy Sunday for the playoffs and still had great service! We had the shareable beer craft and platter of appetizers. The vibe and scene is very casual and hip.

Mom and I tried this place out. Holy cow the food we got was delicious! We had the porch Panini and the BBQ Burger. Both were extremely delicious and we wanted to eat every last bite on her plate but just couldn't. We'll wait an hour and enjoy the rest at home.

Cool vibe, some might say bussin. Talk to the guy with the full sleeve tats, just do it... he's that guy.

This restaurant wasn’t originally on our radar, but most places were busy that Monday evening and The Porch had plenty of space. Our wait time was about 10 minutes for a party of 4 without a reservation. Tons of gluten free options. Our waitress was really accommodating and friendly.

Food was delicious. Service was good. They have swings outside, games, and big tvs to watch the game. Great vibes!

Had a great dinner & drinks my last night in Gilbert 06/13/2022 before going back to Michigan. Holly was great! I’ll definitely be back! Porch pasta was on point!
