Joyride Taco House

Joyride truly lives up to its name, delivering an exceptional dining experience that fills you with pure joy! Recently, my coworkers and I had the pleasure of indulging in their happy hour menu, and it exceeded all expectations.

First off, let's talk about those nachos – absolute perfection! Each bite was a flavor explosion, leaving us craving more. And the drinks? Oh, they were fantastic! From refreshing cocktails to ice-cold beers, Joyride knows how to quench your thirst in style.

What made our visit even more delightful was the option to dine outside. Basking in the sun, feeling the gentle spray of water to keep us cool – it was the perfect ambiance to unwind after a long day.

Overall, Joyride has earned every one of its five stars. Exceptional food, delightful drinks, and a fantastic atmosphere – what more could you ask for? If you haven't already, do yourself a favor and experience the joy of Joyride!

We went for the happy hour tacos and they were amazing. I tried one of every taco except the veggies. They were all fantastic. I really couldn't say if I had a favorite. Pro tip, ask for some lime wedges with your tacos. The flavors are deep and rich so the squeeze of lime helps enhance the flavor. We need to come back and try some of their regular food.

First time in Joyride. Great experience. Food was outstanding and very friendly staff. The nachitos were amazing... so flavorful! They have a great every day happy hour.

This was not the first time to this location, and as usual, we were not disappointed. The tacos were fabulous, and the cocktails were really fantastic. This place always gets it right. We sat on their beautiful patio and enjoyed the afternoon. The server was attentive and very accommodating. I will continue to come here, and I recommend you do too!

Delicious veggie tacos!!! Friends tried the standard and said they were yummy as well :) inexpensive compared to similar places. The music is fun, upbeat, bustling ambience. Our server was very helpful!

We had an awesome time last Friday at Joyride. The food and drinks were awesome! I especially loved the Prickly Pear Margarita! We were a party of 8, and they took great care of us, especially Sean. Thanks for another fabulous experience! P.S. the food was so good, we inhaled it and I have no pics. Haha!

Get a table on the patio railing for excellent people and traffic watching. Street corn appetizer makes a great side dish. It’s big enough to split with two or three people. We each had a couple tacos and split the street corn.

Justine our server was amazing! Extremely attentive and very kind, she recommended some tasty drinks as well . The Mexican street corn and carne tacos are a must when you come. Thank you again to Justine for the top notch service!

I love "the standard" and their prickly pear margaritas! Delicious food, friendly staff. Clean and usually quick. Love that they have clean spacious restrooms too. Love to come here for happy hour drinks. Their habanero salsa is SPICY but oh so good! Great music. I would suggest calling about their wait times or getting there a touch earlier than intended

We celebrated my daughter’s birthday last night at Joyride as it is one of her most favorite places to eat. (Me too!) The manager, Tyler, got us in as quickly as possible and checked on us a few times during our dinner. Our server, Leila, was fantastic. She took excellent care of us, making sure we had everything we needed and was super friendly and kind. And of course the tacos were fabulous! The team brought my daughter Churros with a candle to end the evening. Yummy!! Just an exceptional place to hang out with great food, ambiance and great service!

We had the best experience eating here. Jill the server was attentive and Tyler the manager made sure to come by and see how our experience was. The food was AMAZING. The patio was beautiful and weather was cooperative. I drank the half off margaritas and had the watermelon & rum margarita and holy cow, it was delicious. The kids and I ate the shrimp tacos, carne tacos, crispy fish taco and grilled chicken all we're equally yummy. All in all, we would totally be back! Solid 5 out of 5 stars.

Kicked off our girls weekend here and their cocktails and guacamole were amazing!

Our server was very friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was great. They also have an outdoor patio option.

In honor on National Taco Day and of course, Taco Tuesday, we would like to thank Yelp for inviting us to the The Joyride Taco House. A trendy downtown Gilbert restaurant with a great happy hour and Taco deals on Tuesday's. My wife and I had a nice selection of tacos they all were yummy and the Tropicale Margherita was delicious with fresh papaya and fruit juices with a sugared rim. The service staff is young vibrant and attentive we enjoyed the experience and if your ever in Gilbert please give them a try

Sean and Dez were amazing!! They were so personable. It was Sean's second day and he was killing it with the recommendations. Love the food and atmosphere. Definitely coming back soon to see them!

Showed up at eight on a Saturday night and got seated within 15 minutes. Server Chase, did a great job. Service was prompt and food was delicious. His knowledge and recommendations were appreciated. Great job!

She answered all of my questions about the menu, as this was my first time dining here.
All of our food came out hot, fresh and delicious!!

Tyler the Manager on duty came over to our table and introduced himself and asked us how everything was going.

The place was amazing. The service needs help. There was only one person behind the bar on a taco Tuesday who just finished training. Plus the manager wasn't helping out she was more about having conversations with customers. We sat at the bar for almost 20 minutes before the Bartender got to us. It was kinda busy so it wasn't her fault. Just wished her management would help out more as well as staff properly on a Taco Tuesday during Happy Hour. But besides that. The tacos were absolutely delicious and they were fast. I swear it came out under 10 minutes both times. Plus you can't beat the Happy Hour tacos! I would recommend this place just hope you have better service it's worth it.

First time at Joyride Taco and it won't be the last!! Very impressed. Prices and food quality and service was top notch! Top shelf margarita for only $8 and $2.50 tacos! Shrimp and crispy fish YUM The Hatch Green Chili Queso and Guacamole was delicious. We didn't have any leftovers! Happy hour prices for food and drinks was excellent! Exceeded my expectations and our server Hallie was outstanding!

Here on March 3rd beautiful weather great patio setup. Jill was our server and she did an amazing job. Food is always good, sometimes I wish these drink prices would drop a little 🫣

I would give this place more stars if I could! We are from out of town and decided to give it a try! The food was amazing! Everything we tried was so yummy! What made the experience even better was the waiter! He was so much fun and it made our time there even better! Probably the best waiter we’ve ever had! We will be back next time we’re in town!
