I think this was the best Belgian waffle I’ve ever had! It was so sweet and crispy. They were very nice to absolutely load it up with fruit and whipped cream. The service was very fast & friendly. I can’t wait to go back and try more things on the menu, but this waffle will forever be on my mind :)

Five Points is like a neighborhood institution. We like to come for breakfast at lunchtime. We both had eggs, potatoes, crispy bacon and toast, and the bill was less than $30 including the tip. During peak times, it's crowded and the parking lot is a challenge, but the portions are generous. I like to see the cooks making our food. As their sign says, "Cooked in sight, must be right".

First time here. Arrived Sunday morning just after 10am. Was told that there would be a 20 minute wait. After only 10 minutes, we had a spot at the bar. French Toast with eggs, sausage, and hash browns. Service was great and the food was delicious. Sitting at the bar allowed us to enjoy the show watching them prepare all the food. We'll definitely be back.

Did a quick one day road trip from georgia to asheville and we arrived in the morning and searched for a place to eat breakfast and this place popped up. Got a lot of good reviews, so we gave it a shot. And boy, this place is remarkable. It was full and had a wait even, but we didn't have to wait too long. It's a small diner but serves amazing food, not surprised they even won a lot of awards and is fully packed of people too! Surely will be back if we ever go on a trip again to asheville 🙌🙌

Great little diner. Obvious why it’s so popular with the locals. My girlfriend’s favorite breakfast food is corned beef hash and she is almost never satisfied with what we are able to find at most breakfast places but it took one bite and then “oh my god this is amazing”. To me that’s about the best endorsement I can come up with.

We enjoyed our visit for lunch and will definitely be back. My husband had the Loopy Joe burger with broccoli and he said it was delicious and the same goes for my beef burger on the potato bun with lettuce, onion, tomato, pickles, jalapeños & pepper jack and I chose the greens as a side (so good!). All the food was excellent! We had great service! Everyone was really friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was neat with an open Tavern feel having stonework, wood and ironwork. There is outdoor seating & accommodations for large groups inside and out. There is plenty of parking and located in a nice downtown area that is nice to stroll around and see the sites. It’s a shame this restaurant isn’t closer to our home but worth the hour drive that we made to eat there.

When I stepped in the restaurant, at first I was a little overwhelmed, but then again this is a diner. Restrooms are available. Our server was great and very attentive to our needs. The food came so quick! It couldn’t have been 5 minutes and our plates were in front of us, steaming hot. I would definitely recommend coming early, as we showed up at 8:45, and it was already pretty packed. Then menu seemed a little long, but it’s divided into sections depending on what meal you are having.
Great assortment of diner breakfast food, super filling.

I will definitely be coming here again.

One of the Very Best Tiny Diner meals we've ever had !
We've eaten here before and just HAD to dine here again!
She had the Hamburger Steak & Gravy w/3 sides.
I had the Seafood Special w/Catfish and Shrimp w/3 sides.
Ate it all - very happily full 😊👍
My selection of dishes below only scratches the surface. EVERYTHING is good here !

You better walk in to Five Points Restaurant hungry, because they do not mess around with portions. They are big. You will walk away stuffed full.

Better yet, the food tastes beyond the price tag, as you will spend $10-20 per person, but the food could easily pass as $20-30 when you consider the huge portions.

They offer their full menu all day, including breakfast, leaving you with an overwhelming amount of options to choose from, and the sides vary depending on the day of the week, all of which means you could eat here multiple days a week and still eat something entirely different each day.

The service was seriously excellent, our waiter was super attentive and quick to meet our requests.

Absolutely zero complaints from our party of five.
If you are in this area, you must stop by here for a meal. Maybe even two or three.

Very good time with nice people. One of the last stands orignal Asheville eateries. The food was great and the price was reasonable. You are going to have a wait here so come earlier than you want to eat.

Everyone was super nice and fun to talk too.

Quaint little diner with good prices, great service and good food. Breakfast served all day. Walked down the trail from the botanical gardens. Great way to spend a morning in Asheville.

I always measure breakfast by the classic scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes and a biscuit and Five Points came through with a 5-Star classic. Service was superb, coffee delicious. Wife loved the French Toast.

Ive had the pleasure of dining at 5 Points, a diner located in Asheville, North Carolina, and I must say that my experience was absolutely fantastic. I had heard a lot of great things about this establishment, so I decided to try out their breakfast menu, and boy was I in for a treat! The atmosphere of 5 Points is just classic. The establishment exudes a classic diner vibe that immediately puts you at ease. The interior is decorated with old pictures that creates an enjoyable and inviting atmosphere.

The service at 5 Points is top-notch. As soon as I walked in, the staff greeted me with warm smiles and welcomed me to the bar seating. They were incredibly attentive and made sure that I had everything I needed throughout my meal.

Now, onto the food. I ordered the eggs Benedict with crab cakes, and let me tell you, it was absolutely delicious! The crab cakes were cooked to perfection and had just the right amount of seasoning. The eggs were perfectly poached, and the hollandaise sauce was the perfect complement to the dish.

What I loved most about 5 Points is that they cook everything right in front of you. You can watch the cook prepare your food and see the whole process from start to finish. This adds a personal touch to the diner vibe, and you can be sure that your food is made fresh and to your liking.

I recommend 5 Points to anyone looking for a delicious breakfast. The combination of affordable prices, generous portions, food done right, friendly staff and a clean and cozy atmosphere makes this diner a must-try!

I love this place!

We had a gyro with Greek salad and a grilled ham and cheese sandwich with fries for around $20 total.

Watching multiple guys cooking is a show in itself.

Service is good, atmosphere is diner. Couldn’t ask for more.

It's pretty much exactly what you want from a diner diner. The home fries or hash browns were a little soft for my personal taste but everything was cooked perfectly and the staff was super friendly and fast. Definitely recommend stopping by!

50th Anniversary visit today! Party of 5 - First timers, on a very busy Saturday brunch visit. They are very quick and efficient, despite being slammed it did not seem hectic at all.

The service and the food were both absolutely fantastic. The menu in the beginning is kind of daunting but once you give it a couple of look overs it all makes sense.

Highly recommend Five Points Restaurant! You will not be disappointed ❤
