Continental Pools, LLC

This is my second year working for Continetal pools as a lifeguard on the J1 Cultural Exchange Programme. No company is perfect and this comment us based on my experience.

1. Everything that was stated my contract was honored. I have never had to complain about my hours being short or being unfairly paid, by the company.

2. Work times are reasonable and allow for participation in cultural activities which I enjoy participating in. I have been able to travel and experience the American culture and have a social life all whilst working.

This includes and is not limited to the company taking us on excursions to visit Busch Gardens or Kings Dominion to have a day worth of fun and excitement and me going on a cruise, watching movies, etc. (See pictures below)

3. My supervisors, managers and regional managers and other authoritative figures have been objective based on my oberservation. I have never had an issue where a supervisor has neglectful or disrespectful to me in any manner.

4. I respect the fact that the company has an open door policy which makes it easier for you to provide suggestions and recommendations for corporate growth opportunities. We were also able to reach out to the company with any concerns that we had with relations to our work and living controls without fear of being treated unfairly.

5. On my first year I worked at some pools as a single lifeguard which was a struggle, however, being able to work alongside a colleague has been the best fit for me. It has allowed me to observe that I function better with others as a team rather than a unit. This has worked out in many ways than one, with an example being that the workload is shared and not only dependent on 1 person.

6. The living accommodations provided were adaptive and all appliances were functional. Rooms were clean and tidy, bedding was provided and roommates were respectful and cooperative.

In conclusion, it is personally befitting that the company receives a 5 star rating. I have not experienced any significant or consequential experiences that will have the company deserving less than they deserve. I only hope any new and returning lifeguards have the same experience as I did.

Working with my supervisor has been a blast. Have to admit that Sir Carlos is a real supportive person. Represents the company well, It was definitely a pleasure.

Working for Continental Pools has been an incredible experience for me as a lifeguard. The company's commitment to safety through their zero accident policy,and a supportive team environment throughout any situation stood out the most. From the start, I felt equipped to handle any situation. The management's dedication to maintaining high standards and ensuring a smooth and secure pool environment for both staff and patrons was very commendable.

Continental Pools is an amazing company to work for. It is truly evident that they care and appreciate their staff and take the time to make sure that we are okay. I loved working as a lifeguard and my supervisor, Carlos made the experience better with his guidance. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone!

Working for Continental Pools has allowed me to have my one of my favorite summers of my life. I got to go to a nice pool every day, work around very nice people and have a very good and nice supervisor named Khalil Richards, who, of the supervisors I’ve had is by far my favorite. His reliability has helped me several times throughout the summer and I’m very thankful for him. I and glad my first official job was Lifeguarding for Continental Pools and I look forward to potentially coming back next year.

Continental Pools is a great, professional company to work for. They take care of their lifeguards and check in to make sure everything is running smoothly. I truly felt appreciated while working for Continental Pools and if I ever had a problem or questions I could call headquarters and get it fixed. This was a great first job and I can’t wait for next you.

This was my first summer working for continental pools as a lifeguard and I enjoyed my experience with them. Flexible hours, good pay, good and responsive team. My coworkers, managers, and supervisors were all awesome and good to work with and I will definitely be working with them again next year, would highly recommend continental pools if your looking for a summer job or anything else.

Continental Pools is excellent! We live in a condo community and the Board of Directors hired Continental Pools last year. They did an outstanding job in servicing our pool from May to September. They will return for the 2023 season. We look forward to seeing them again.

One of the standout features of Continental Pools is their attention to detail when it comes to pool maintenance. From regular cleaning and water balance checks to equipment inspections, they seem to have a comprehensive approach to ensuring that pools are not only clean but also safe for users.

I am a life guard who worked here over the summer. The pool I worked for didn’t have a lot of people coming so I was by myself most of the time(not that I’m complaining). My first manager was okay but because of him the pool got green. They changed the manager pretty fast and we got the pool back to looking good. They also were good with accommodating with changes in my schedule. The only main problem I had was with payroll, but that might be with just the mailing company. The problem was that I was supposed to get my check on a Tuesday. It didn’t happen so I emailed got a reply fairly quickly and I completed the lost check form. It took another week for my check to come in. Other then that my experience is positive with the company.

The management staff is very professional, responsive and understanding. Whenever a issue arises, they listen keenly and try to make any adjustments where necessary. My supervisor, Jovan, is very courteous. He ensured that all his lifeguards are good. He deserves a raise!

A wonderful experience to work for and with Continental Pools. They are always on time, fixing problems immediately as they are reported and maximally professional when it comes to business. Company management and supervisors are nice and great for compromise and will help with any problem at any given time. If you ask me, they are the best pool company on the east coast without competition! I recommend that the reader of this comment will give them a chance and try working for them for a great working experience that they’ve provided for me and all other lifeguards. It was a great experience to work for and with Continental Pools. Professional when it comes to business. Company management and supervisors are nice it was fun being a lifeguard here. My supervisor Jovan did a great job.

Continental pools has some of the best and well trained staff and managers in the business,. Their lifeguard are second to none. They managers and supervisor give 100% support to all their lifeguard. I can speak about the south Virginia team, best service and support every.

I was recently employed by Continental Pools this past May, 2022. Everyday, everyone worked together to achieve daily goals throughout the pool facilities and office management. Continental has been nothing but welcoming and supportive. I am grateful and proud to be a part of this team.

I worked with CPI for 4 seasons, both as a lifeguard and regional supervisor, and had a great experience and learned a lot. My coworkers were always supportive and friendly, there was always someone you could count on, when needed, be it direct superior or general manager. My hard work was recognized, respected and it well paid off. I highly recommend you to give CPI a chance to manage your facility, as I am sure that they are one of the best in the business and will not compromise with both safety nor quality of their service.

I worked as a lifeguard. From the day I came to the end of the season, they helped me with my every need as much as they could. I worked with the supervisor and managers in family sincerity. I was able to achieve my goals. I would like to thank the continental pools family. See you again

I would recommend this to everyone because its really nice to work in Continental pools LLC. Supervisors are phenomenal, staffer is great and everything else is nice. I would always come here from now on because of many great things that this program offers and gives. Being a lifeguard is awesome and I love it and recommend it to anyone that wants to be a part of a large community that is keeping everyone safe. Swim safe and be safe!

Excellent experience and great cooperation with the management and all staff. I used to work with CPI for several summers and had a great time, met a lot of wonderful people and enjoy free time on the ocean. Very nice working environment, the job is fairly lightweight and it is good opportunity for young people for summer job. I recommend young people to try it.
