Smithfield Station

Must try seafood restaurant. Consistently good food and cocktails. Fresh, local seafood that is well seasoned. Competitive pricing. Laid back marina with upscale tastings. 360 views and little gift shops surrounding the restaurant to walk off them calories 😉. --- I have not stayed at the hotel, but if it's anything like the rest of the property, you will feel right at home with a friendly staff and a calming atmosphere. I 10/10 recommend Smithfield Station Restaurant and Accommodations.

This place is 5 star all the way. I ordered the Hawaiian Ribeye and the Shrimp Hush Puppies. The Hush Puppies came out first. They had a delicious blend of batter, pieces of shrimp and a kick of jalapeno, which was a tasty surprise. I ordered the Hawaiian Ribey medium. It was cooked to perfection! And the grilled chucks of Pineapple on top just added to the juicy flavor. The side of Pasta Salad was on point. For dessert, I had the bread pudding. It came out hot, and I asked for a serving of vanilla ice-cream to top it. The sauce is delicious, which I believe was a whiskey walnut type that only enhanced the numerous raisins that were throughout the bread. Also, I would be doing a disservice if I didn't mention the home brewed sweet tea. The glasses were small, but my server was always there to fill it. I highly recommend this on the pier spot for any occasion.

I haven't dined here in years, but I remember loving it and last night I loved it again! The cocktails were on point. We dined at the bar instead of waiting an hour for a two seater table. I believe the restaurant was busy from the wine festival that ended a few hours before we arrived. Nevertheless, the two bartenders held it down!
Our meals were filling and delicious. I had the broiled seafood platter half portion and my husbae had the blackened salmon and shrimp. We shared the bourbon bread pudding for dessert. After just under $200 later we were throughly pleased!
Oh he had the oysters for an app and I had the boom boom shrimp. While he enjoyed every Oyster and I thought the shrimp lacked flavor even though I ate the majority of them.
But all in all 10/10 I'd recommend.
I'm looking forward trying other entrees sooner than later.

Our server, Peyton was awesome! Very friendly, fast, and efficient. Went with a group of 13 for an early Christmas celebration. Decorations were beautiful. Chicken salad had a good flavor, but a little dry. Hushpuppies were delicious. 😋 Overall great experience.

Finally got around to stopping in. Parking often looks full which is deceiving, lot of room inside, staff is great and super fast. Prices are good. Flavors were excellent. Wouldn’t normally recommend salad but the seafood caesar salad is legit. Everything looked fantastic.

Got a room spur of the moment, everyone is very nice here. Room was very clean, complementary breakfast, Starbucks coffee in room. Balcony room overlooking marina and river. Restaurant and bar super good.
Would definitely stay again.

This place is a hidden gem. The food is great. The service is great too. The people eating there ( not including me, lol) very off putting. I felt like an outsider on somebody's turf (yes I just aged myself.) Can you stare any harder and then turn your nose up any further? Yes, I'm black, Yes, I'm disabled, and Yes, I'm going to find a "seat at the table" whether you like it or not. I'm hungry. LOL!

Met some friends for a destination lunch, food was awesome. Service was top notch. The hostess seated us near the fireplace after she volunteered to put it on for us.

Food is always so yummy and the crab dip is to die for! Their drinks are also really good. They are more on the expensive side but in my opinion it is worth every penny! The view is honestly the best part.

My family and I went to Christmas Eve dinner at the Smithfield Station. We really enjoyed our evening out there. Our server was on top of things all during our meal. Tea was continuously brought. We asked for extra bread. That was brought out with two types of butter. The beacon wrapped scallops and tuna bites were the perfect sharing appetizer. I got the Norfolk Combo that included broiled shrimp, scallops, and crab meat. It was tasty with the melted butter. I would definitely order it again.

They also affected a children's menu as well.

Fabo Valentine's lunch. Everything great. Not crowded. Chad was a great server. Went back and got the fisherman's platter. Best part was the scallops. Crab soup is great as well.

Fine local dining on the Pagan River providing a picturesque view of the marina. The calabash shrimp was delicious and the 57 Chevy burger was good. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. It was decorated nicely for Christmas, also having a gingerbread house display.

Consistently, one of the best seafood restaurants on the peninsula! The best crab bisque anywhere!! We come here often and we love it! The Station Inn is also lovely during any season!

Excellent food and views! I had the ham rolls and crab soup. The crab soup was incredible!! A very enjoyable experience dining on the water overlooking the marina!

This was our very first time eating here and it was amazing. For an appetizer we had the blackened tuna ND by far it was the best we have had. Or main entrees we also really good.

Always enjoy dining at the Smithfield Station. The Sunday brunch was excellent. Made to order crab and shrimp omelet was simply delicious. Always a welcoming feeling when I go there.

Unfortunately, we did not get past drinks, appetizers and soup. However, we did have several different appetizers and a cup of both soups, which we traded mid way. 🤣 Everything was delicious! We particularly enjoyed the Oyster Rockefeller. The desserts are also amazing. 👌

Delicious food and great service! We ate outside and enjoyed the water view. We'll definitely be back!

Our server was outstanding. The buffet for the Santa brunch was excellent. You must try their painkiller, it is a winner!
