**First Timer Review**
It’s been a while since my last camping trip, and this place did not disappoint at all. First I’d like to thank Ms. Reeva and Mr. Jeremiah for all their hard work, and making our trip a success. Silver lake was a huge relief from the heat in the city. Excellent weather 90% of the time. The rain we got was welcoming, and made for some very cool mornings. Fire pits aren’t hard to come by, and campfires were allowed from 6pm-10am daily. The lake is beautiful, we didn’t catch a thing, but the memories created made up for it. Definitely giving this place a 10/10.

Beautiful campground with beautiful scenery. The lake is small but plentiful, fishing was great and the trout is pretty tasty if you know how to cook it! The horses stop by every day in the summer months. The bathrooms and grounds are well taken care of, trash gets picked up multiple times a day! Definitely worth the money! We will be back!

I had and amazing time here!! I haven't been camping in years and I fell in love with this place. Perfect weekend getaway. Bathrooms are clean just make sure you bring soap! The staff emptys out the trash cans daily. There is a lot of camping space to choose from. Just make sure you get there early morning on a Friday to get a good spot. It does get cold at night so bring loads of blankets! It does love to rain to so come prepared once again. I've read reviews from this place where people had a horrible experience because of the rain and gave this place a low rating. It is not the campgrounds fault for rain that is mother natures fault. This place takes CASH ONLY so don't forget! You will not get any signal whatsoever unless you pay 2 bucks for the wifi and even then you have to be close to the office but I'll let you in on a little secret.... You get some signal close to the lake, its more than enough to check your Facebook and send some texts or make some calls that is it! Forget about downloading or uploading anything....

We visit Silver Lake at least once a year to camp for the weekend and the family loves it. Beautiful campground with plenty of areas to set up camp. There are clean public restrooms with showers, as well as spigots throughout the campgrounds to get clean water. We always have a great time and the staff is amazing and helpful. Highly recommend for camping!

We hadn't visited Silver Lake since 2019 but we were finally able to spend 4 days of last week at your site. My wife, son and I, accompanied by our daughter and her family, acquired two RV sites and we had an awesome time. Upon our arrival Tuesday morning, we were greeted by Camp Host Riva, who was not only courteous, respectful, and cheerful, but was very attentive. Riva provided us with great customer service . Next day, we dropped by the office for our fishing permits when we were greeted by Jeremiah. Jeremiah also received us with a great attitude and provided us with answers to all of our questions. Jeremiah also quickly helped us when our site trash bins needed attention and also kept us informed of any fire restrictions. We already have plans to return at least a couple of times before the season ends.

Nice Place To Fish And Chillax, Haven't Camp There Yet But Will Soon Do SO. Gone Fishing There For 6 Hours And Caught Only Three, but Still A Good Place To Fish.

Just got back from camping trip. Everything was great. There were some adults acting like kids being loud and abnuctious till 4:30am. Manager escorted them out of premises the next day. Everyone around them was very happy. Again thanks to the management there.

Went for Labor Day Weekend with the family. Overall, it was a fun experience. Enjoyed the Apache Land and definitely the mountains. The lake was small and there was a lot of moss, so fishing wasn’t so great. They kept the land cleaned and picked up trash every few hours. There was a ranger going around every few hours as well. They had Porta potty’s which was kept clean and was flushed daily. They had a place to shower. Definitely no phone services. They had wifi which was $2 but you have to give them your phone and they input the password for you. Overall stay was amazing. The ladies up front could use some training for customer service and at lease smile. But I rate a 5 star because we enjoyed ourselves. 💗

OMG...this place is sooo beautiful. Def worth going and going back too. The lake is more of a pond, it's really small. Also, a NM fishing license does not work here. U have to purchase a fishing pass for $5 I believe. Either way, the scenery is amazing. We parked up high as we could, just take time to move around slowly at first till u get used to the high elevation. There is wild horses walking around day and night as well as TONS of elk. Does gets lil cold at night but like I said def worth a visit...u won't regret it.

Amazing place to camp and just escape home. The showers are kept clean, trash was picked up everyday by the rangers, and there is now a new convenient store. The RV site has electrical and water hookups, just make sure you have the right connectors. If you plan to tent, the regular spots have water lines at all sites. The lake is also nice and pretty, especially for a quiet walk. It is open to people all around. Just watch out though for racist WHITE people lol. Not all of them are racist just some.

Silver is a great place to be. To be under the stars,to breathe all that fresh air, and to be around the wildlife is even better

Showers and restrooms were clean, the porta potty far side of the leak was missing toilet paper though. I had to run across the other side to the campgrounds, get toilet paper, snd bring it back for the kids to use the restroom. Staff was friendly and very helpful.

Love it here. Always come back every summer. Great place to camp with hot showers and clean restrooms. It can get a little dirty when during holidays.
