My family and I just spent a week at 16 Springs and loved every minute of it. The owner and the camp hosts were wonderful and welcoming. The campground itself is in an idyllic location, and we enjoyed the peaceful beauty at every turn. We were a bit nervous of the drive to get there after reading the reviews but were pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t as bad as we expected. I highly recommend this park if you want to get back nature and away from our modern busy lives. We will return and have already booked two weeks for next summer. Thank you, Stacy and Nan, for the awesome hospitality!! 😎

This little lovely and quaint RV park is situated in a beautiful setting! The park is well kept and very peaceful. The elk bugles and coyote howls added a special song to our experience there. The owner and camp host were extremely inviting and accommodating. There were also lots of friendly RVers there too. I highly recommend this gem!

This RV park is awesome! For starters it's beautiful, peaceful and quite. A little off the beaten path but well worth it.
I highly recommend this RV park. It's very well loved and you can tell. The owner (Stacy) is accommodating and professional. We will be returning. Thank you Stacy.

Just returned from 2 weeks staying at this RV park. So very nice and peaceful. Had about 25 Elk in the meadow below the campground in the late evening. Stacey was wonderful and would check in during to day to see if we needed anything and if everything was ok. This was just a refreshing location to stay at and was pretty quiet. We will definitely be returning.

This place is AWESOME. 5 stars. 10/10. Wild horses. Elk. Deer. Mike and Stacy, the hosts, were extremely gracious. They checked on us at least twice a day. We went pretty early in the season too. Only one other family was there at the same time. So had the whole place to ourselves pretty much. No water hookup yet. Always electric and sewer though. Was still getting too cold at night for water. No bother. Still worth it. Cloudcroft is a short drive back down the mountain for day hikes and town stuff. Would definitely come back!!! Especially during the warmer season. Definitely recommend!!!

Fantastic location, well removed from any and all distraction. Beautiful scenery surrounds this little gem of a campground, and the host is super friendly and helpful. The road (around 5 miles long) is steep with many sharp cutbacks...if you need guardrails to feel safe, then it's going to be a hairy climb. There were plenty of big campers and even a Class A motorcoach, so it isn't a big deal, just be prepared. No wifi, no cell service, so get your mind right and come enjoy possibly the most beautiful night sky you will ever see!

My wife and I just got back from staying at this park and it was great. The host was friendly and the scenery is amazing. If you can afford to be unplugged for several days, this is the best park for it. There's plenty of trails all around the park too for you to go explore.

While we went driving around, we saw an elk and at least 30 mule deer roaming around in the early morning.

This park may be off the beaten path, but that is what makes it so AMAZING! The views are spectacular. The stress just melts away. Stacey was so accommodating and helpful, checked on us several times a day. Would highly recommend for anyone who wants to unplug.

We feel so fortunate to have found this lovely campground near Cloudcroft. We stayed briefly last year and loved it so we came back for a week this time. Pros: Lovely views, peaceful, clean facilities, nice hot showers, helpful and personable camp host (Stacy!), awesome bird-watching and wildlife (elk and deer), spacious back-in or pull-through sites with hookups, quiet atmosphere, small and off the beaten track but the road is well-maintained. We didn't have phone service and it's 5 miles up the mountain from Cloudcroft, so plan accordingly. Can't wait to go back!

Absolutely fantastic experience at this RV park. Very well maintained, small park well off the beaten path. No cell service or internet but aren't you supposed to be on vacation anyway? Beautiful views of the Lincoln National Forest. Tons of wildlife from deer and elk to wild horses. If you want peace and tranquility then this is the place to be. The absolute best camp host you could ever ask for. I stayed 10 days and it was nowhere near long enough. I will return as often as possible.

There are sections of the 6 mile road into the area that are rustic! Paved with gravel. The water ruts make things interesting. But, the location - it is ideal. Elk calls (far distance) serenade you in the night. Best to have leveling blocks.

Was here in Mid March, had the entire park area to ourselves. owner was great and came by several times just to check on us, even kept our 4 month old Papillon pup while we went to the casino for a few hours. Great place to stay.

This RV park is lovely & the surroundings are beautiful; however, the drive to the site is steep & windy & somewhat concerning when pulling a fairly large 5th wheel. If it wasn't for the steep drive, it would be our favorite place.

Excellent RV spot. Beautiful scenery that makes you feel like you are outdoors as opposed to in an RV park. Close drive to Cloudcroft and White Sands. Would definitely stay there again.

Sixteen Springs RV Park is off the beaten path but well worth the drive. This RV Park offers majestic scenery with clean facilities. Billy & Bear are also great camp host.

Great RV park, off the beaten path, deep in the cool pines of southern NM with nice Clean hot showers, laundry room and ice! Don’t expect WiFi! You’re in the mountains for goodness sakes!!

Want to camp on a soft lawn among cool, whispering pines? This is the place! Real quiet. Driving in, I'd drive in from the west.

I'll be back next year!

Amazing little camping area! Beautiful and full of wild life. Could hear the turkeys all day long, and lots of elk and deer.
