Camp of the Tall Pines

I had my wedding ceremony a couple weekends ago at Camp of the Tall Pines and it was perfect! They provided a fully stocked kitchen where I could store and cook all my food that I brought. The corral where we held the ceremony had a beautiful backdrop for the union. We also rented the kodiak cabin and it was clean with everything we needed. I will definitely come back!

My daughter and I just attended an event here this past weekend and we had an incredible time! The place has gone under renovations since the last time we had been there (I think new ownership) and it looks wonderful! We stayed in the bunkhouse with other women so there are twin bunks throughout the long cabin with 2 ceiling fans and a couple of windows. Bathrooms and showers are right outside the bunkhouses so that was nice. Make sure to bring a sleeping bag as there is no bedding provided in there besides the mattress. Thank you for providing a great venue for NWTF New Mexico Women in the Outdoors! We hope to be back again!

Our church stayed out in the Timberland (five bunk cabins off the beaten path) over Labor Day weekend, and we had a wonderful time! Our kids could run and play, and the hiking was beautiful! We had great memories around the all-day campfire, as well as resting in the cabins during the afternoon rain showers. (And the restroom and shower buildings made it more comfortable than camping without facilities.)

We stayed at Camp of the Tall pines back on the beginning of spring 2021. It was 3 motorcycles. We went for camping on our way from Florida to Colorado. First of all the owner of the place was one of the coolest and nicest women I’ve ever encountered in more than 100K miles of US back country roads. We were lucky to find the place as we did not have any arrangements. The cabins and bathrooms were awesome and incredibly clean. We rented the space to camp but since we were the only ones in the area (it was still snowy and cold) she let us use a Cabin if we wanted to. The place was absolutely magical, the Forrest was at its best and we decided to simply take a day off and hang out at the camping site. If you like camping and having a very good, safe and clean place where you can be part of nature, this place is awesome. Not to mention the starry nights the area provides as it is so deep in the woods. Thank you for your kindness and excellent services!!!

The new owners have renovated, upgraded, and taken pride in making sure all their guests have a great experience. There were horseshoes and washers game pits, basketball goals, frisbee golf, hiking, etc. My kids had a blast! The lodge was a great place to hang out and enjoy a cold drink while watching the mule deer and enjoying the beautiful forest scenery. The cabins were clean, comfortable, the low cost was fantastic, and the guest services we received from the owners was first class all the way. We will definitely be going back often!

Love this place!! We had an amazing family getaway and it was just what we needed! The cabins are clean and cozy and the staff are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. We were able to connect to WiFi at the lodge and have total peace at our cabin. Can’t wait for our next trip!!

MY HEAVEN! Words can't express how much my family and I love this place! Its great to get away in the mountains, yet still have the amenities we love. supper close to Cloudcroft for going out for meals etc. The place is very clean and well kept! This is our go to getaway every moment we can rather we choose to rent a cabin our take our camper. Highly recommend a few nights stay because 1 night is just not enough!

We recently stayed in the Bison Range Cabin and had a great time. The camp has been given a great makeover by its new owners and I can’t say enough how nice and much improved everything is. We will definitely keep this camp on our list of favorite places to stay.

This place is so awesome! First class all the way. Jamie and Scott are the best and Derlene in the office is really on top of things. Friendly, courteous and clean. I recommend Tall Pines for any great get away.

Had such a great time staying at the Camp of the Tall Pines!!! Our cabin was so cozy and adorable I could’ve stayed much longer. The people working there are excellent and very helpful and I will definitely visit again!!!!

My wife and I recently stayed in the Trading Post cabin. What a great place for a couple to stay. We were immediately welcomed and checked how we were doing. The cabin was comfortable and clean. We will definitely be back to stay!

A wonderful place to stay while touring, hiking or hunting the Sierra Nevada Mountains in and around Weed, NM. The facilities are great the people even better. Even hiking around the grounds we came upon fossils and quite a bit of wildlife.

The staff is awesome. Beautiful amazing people. The location is wonderful. I've never seen so many deer🦌. Our cabin was amazing.

A beautiful campsite nestled in the mountains close to Cloudcroft, NM. We rented a cabin for the weekend and had a picnic lunch on Sunday .

Beautiful place. Amenities were clean, organized, and well lit. Hostess was fantastic, she checked on us through out our stay.

This camp is beautiful, staff was super friendly and welcoming. Cabin was so cute and comfy! Can't wait to go back!

Owners are very kind. My family loved playing disc golf. We really enjoyed our stay there.
