They treat their horses, mostly donations and rescues, like kings and queens! They want the horses to have the most fulfilling and healthy life and are SO dedicated!

Their riding programs are unmatched in skill, knowledge, positive learning and encouragement. In addition to all of the different classes (by 10-12 week sessions) for typical riders from age 7 up, they offer a Special Riders Program for exactly that demographic and have classes and competitions for Special Olympics Ohio Equestrian. It is a magical place!

The teachers, the volunteers and the love: all real, sincere and magical.

I've been taking riding lessons here for about a year now, and had the opportunity to ride during your "down" time. I was in a class on Thursday evenings and our instructor was Jana. She was absolutely amazing! She was very thorough on making sure that we, her students, understood the importance of correctly tacking up and taking care of our Horses, and how to do it safely. Her teachings of riding were impeccable! I learned so much from Her in a short amount of time. Thank you Jana for making that class so enjoyable to be in! Hope to be able to ride with you again!

My girls took lessons here and had 2 wonderful instructors. Zan was their beginning instructor and Jana was the instructor for the next level. Jana also told us about a horse camp the girls could attend. She did a fantastic job with the camp and lessons. They absolutely loved it!! Fantastic experience for my girls. They were taught so much about horses and riding!

My daughter Ashley has been taking lessons here for a few years now. The facilities are clean and comfortable. All of the horses are well cared for. However, the best part of lessons this year has been Ashley’s instructor Jana!! I can’t thank Jana enough for working with Ashley!! Jana is a very bright, lively and intelligent teacher. In one short summer Ashley’s riding abilities have improved drastically! Jana is very good at bringing out the best in the kids. She is very good at correcting and encouraging them all at the same time. It’s been so nice to watch Ashley become such a confident rider in such a short period of time. Thanks so much Jana!

My two children love taking riding lessons here. I have been so impressed with the high quality of teaching that is offered. Jana builds their confidence and also challenges them to keep becoming better riders. Thank you Jana and WWRC for providing such a great experience!

My granddaughter is in her 2nd class of riding lessons here. It's been a very positive experience. Especially now she has Jana as her riding instructor. I can't say enough good things about Jana. She's safety minded and teaches the kids all aspects ofsafe horsemanship. She's never boring , at times a little challenging but always explains and clearly verbalizes instructions on the kids level. Hopefully Jana will be here for a long time. She's excellent! They have great horses for lessons.

I used to ride and show horses up until I had my first son. So I am an advanced rider. Then life, kids, carpool, job, etc happens and your hobbies take a back seat, so I signed up for lessons at Winton Woods to do something for myself and try to get back into the swing of things. I really appreciated their laid back manner and approach to my lesson experience. If the barn staff and trainer would have been micro managing me, I would not have liked that at all. Taylor did a great job coaching and encouraging me without being overbearing. I would recommend taking lessons here for sure!! Thank you Winton Woods for letting this soccer mom have some moments of youth and happiness back!!

I have been working for WWRC for almost 3 years now. It truly is a sanctuary for me where I am surrounded by amazing animals, great coworkers and volunteers, fun students and their awesome family members. This place transforms me each time I pass through the gates. All pressures and stresses of life vanish and I want to thank WWRC for creating and maintaining such a special place for us to enjoy and escape to.
I decided to post this review not only to recognize my great place of work but also some people who impacted me on my journey to be an instructor. Just to keep it brief, Charley and BJ recognized and voiced that I should pursue teaching, Sammy was my role model when I assisted her few years ago during our spring horseback riding camp, Moey believed in me and was available pretty much 24/7 to answer any questions (I think this woman doesn’t sleep), Taylor, Sarah, Xan and Marissa sharing their teaching techniques that I had an opportunity to observe and then incorporate some into my own personal teaching style.
I must be one lucky instructor because my students are always well behaved (thank you parents, grandparents, guardians), eager to learn, hard-working and that makes it so much more enjoyable to teach and share my knowledge. My goal is to create safe yet challenging, fun but educational classes where students can receive honest feedback while being encouraged to become the best they can be. I like to teach horseback riding technique that makes it enjoyable not only for the rider but also tolerable for the horse. Providing top quality lessons that meet and exceed your investment and expectations.
Mostly I want to thank all of you for your wonderful reviews. I appreciate it mostly because it is not only a feedback but also a validation that we have a positive impact on your children teaching them not only horseback riding and horsemanship but also emphasizing safety, positive attitude, patience, persistence and hopefully much more that will translate into long lasting life lessons. Also thank you for taking the time to write your reviews. I know quite well how pressed we all are for time and I truly appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts.
Thank you for being a part of WWRC. We all are the ones that makes this place so wonderful!
Jana, WWRC Instructor.

This was the best experience I have ever had. It was so exciting when I got to groom, ride, and learn all about horses. Then I was able to see the girl horses roam in the field. The instructors were amazing! I would recommend Winton woods riding center to anyone.

My daughter just finished spring riding camp, and this is all she can talk about. For days, shes been doing nothing but thinking and dreaming about the horse Classy. From what I saw, Jana and Zack were wonderful with the kids and they learned so much!

My 3 grandchildren had an excellent experience with the horseback lessons. The staff are excellent, horses are well-cared for, and the teachers give students a great example in horsemanship and kind interaction with animals.

My 8 year old is currently enrolled in horseback riding. We have been very pleased with the teaching instructor. My daughter already feels like Amy Fleming from Heartland!
