A very fun bridge that stretches over the Connecticut River and that you can walk or bicycle over. The rail trail goes over this and offers some lovely views that you can enjoy while in motion or after stopping to take it all in. One of my favorite spots to bike and take photos. Highly recommend.

Beautiful 1600' bridge over the Connecticut River, just feet from parking, just off the freeway. Great views of two channels of the river, and the Holyoke range in the background. Lots of boat traffic under the bridge in warm weather.

Great trail......better for bikes than walking ....so flat and 11 miles long. Cool old railroad bridge over Connecticut river!

This trail is great for biking and running! It stretches between downtown Northampton through Hadley, Amherst, and Belchertown. Lots of great nature sights along the way.

This bridge offers a beautiful view of the river. It was especially stunning on a clear autumn morning watching the sunrise.

Very pretty walking bridge over the river. Make sure to park in the parkinglot on the west side of the river. Don't follow google's directions to the marker on the east side.

I love this bridge! (for its adorableness, not for its ease of biking over-- it's kind of bumpy and narrow, and it gets icy in the winter)
