ATTABOY BARREL HOUSE

We held our wedding ceremony and reception at the Attaboy Barrel House, and we couldn't have asked for a better venue or team! We hosted 130 guests for a full afternoon and evening of dinner, drinks, dancing and beer garden hangs - can't recommend Kristina, Carly and the rest of the Attaboy team enough.

They were so accommodating every step of the way in helping us plan and coordinate a day that felt like us, and their team was a huge part of making our guests' experience amazing. They were partying right along with us behind the bar and served the wine and cocktails we provided alongside a selection of 7 Attaboy beers on tap.

A few other things that were highlights and made the venue great: There's plenty of parking for guests; Attaboy has plenty of furniture for up to 140 guests, and everything is already so stylish that we didn't need any rented linens or additional tables and chairs; the beer package is so affordable for high quality selection, and you can bring in any other wine and liquor you'd like their team to serve; they have a great network of vendors that have worked events together at Attaboy - our coordinator, caterer and DJ were all experienced and familiar with the venue!

Overall, the Attaboy team went above and beyond to help us plan and host the wedding we were hoping for!

Words cannot express how happy we are with our decision to have our wedding at Attaboy Barrel House. My husband and I took a weekend trip to Frederick to tour a handful of venue spaces and we both fell in love with Attaboy Barrel House immediately. It was a perfect match for us! The owner, Carly, is incredibly friendly, responsive, and supportive. Her leadership trickles all the way down to the venue staff. They were all willing to go above and beyond to help us with planning and taking care of our guests during our wedding day.

The venue space is beautiful. We especially loved the open, clean, modern space with a beautiful bar area, the barrel walls, and the murals. If you haven’t visited, you should stop in on a Saturday or schedule a walkthrough with staff. We decided to use the chairs and tables provided by Attaboy and our event designer did a wonderful job adding florals and decor to match our vision.

Perhaps most importantly, the beer is incredible! My husband and I love exploring local breweries and Attaboy is our new favorite. For the wedding, we were able to choose 7 beers that we wanted to have on tap for our guests. Our guests had rave reviews of the beer, venue, and staff and had a great night celebrating with us. One of the most special parts of having a brewery wedding is that we can continue to go back to the place where we got married and enjoy a beverage together and reminisce about our special day.

We are SO glad that we had our wedding with Attaboy!! Amazing communication and team to work with through everything. Their beer selection was great and we got to customize the open bar with the beers of our choices. We also love the space- so naturally beautiful that it needs minimal décor. Thank you to Carly, Emily, and the rest of the Attaboy team for making our day amazing!

Great beers on tap, serving several attaboy beers, a seltzer, and several barrel aged beers. the barrel aging is in wine barrels, so it is more earthy and oak flavored. not the traditional bourbon barrel aging. plenty of outdoor and indoor place, with shuffle board and games. Plenty of weekend events, be sure to check their schedule.

I cannot say enough great things about Attaboy Barrel House and their staff! We had our wedding reception here this past Saturday on 10/14 and it was perfect. All 113 of our guests had a blast and we got so many compliments on our venue choice.

The barrel house is fun, modern, unique, and has the best vibe! I also really loved the new bridal suite in the back to change out of my wedding dress and into my cocktail dress. And the beers were a huge hit. Our guests enjoyed being able to try all the different beer options that we had picked out. It was a truly unique part of the experience.

All of the staff at Attaboy were amazing to work with- professional, kind, and energetic. Special shout out to Kristina their event coordinator for being the biggest joy to work with. She made every step of the planning process flow with ease, and was an awesome resource leading up to the big bash.

Attaboy Barrel House was the perfect place to have our reception and we would recommend it over and over again to anyone thinking of hosting an event here!

Same cool Attaboy vibe but a lot chiller. Beautiful space with outdoor seating in the front. Must have given by the barrel house dozens of times and not realized it was even there. The beer is top notch. And you get the same great service that you do at the regular taproom.

Drove here from Baltimore just to catch the monthly food truck. The hard apple cider was perfect with my pork belly tacos!!

What a special space! The beers on tap are so unique and something Frederick has needed (whether they know it or not). I appreciate the owners putting together markets and special events...always fun times! Not kid or dog friendly but well advertised so no surprises. Enjoy a fabulous weekend day at the Barrel House! We recently had the pleasure of hosting our dream reception at Attaboy Barrel House, and we can't express enough how impressed we were with the venue's professionalism and enthusiasm. The staff went above and beyond to ensure everything was absolutely perfect.

They were organized, efficient, and attentive to every detail. Throughout the planning process, they provided invaluable guidance and support, helping us navigate through various choices and options. Their expertise and experience shone through as they effortlessly handled all the logistics, leaving us stress-free and confident in their ability to execute our vision flawlessly.

It was evident that they genuinely love what they do. On the day of the event, the staff's energy and excitement were palpable, and every aspect of the venue exuded an atmosphere of joy and celebration. The staff's dedication and commitment were apparent throughout the day as they coordinated seamlessly with other vendors, ensuring everything unfolded smoothly.

We must give a dedicated shoutout to the event coordinator, Kristina, who 's tremendous skill set shined in every possible way. She was such a solid point person for us, plus she knows how to throw a party!

In conclusion, Attaboy Barrel House exceeded our expectations in every way. They played a huge role in creating an atmosphere of pure joy and celebration. We are eternally grateful to the entire team for their dedication, expertise, and warm hospitality. We had our rehearsal dinner at the Barrel House and it did not disappoint. I worked with Carly and Amanda to coordinate everything and it was so easy. Our guests loved the venue and beer offerings. Highly recommend it for your next event!

We hosted our rehearsal dinner at Attaboy Barrel House and we couldn't be happier with our choice! We first fell in love with Attaboy when visiting their main taproom, but as soon as we realized they had the Barrel House (and it could be reserved for private events), we jumped at the opportunity! Working with Carly and her team was a dream - they allowed us to bring in a caterer and our own bottles of wine to compliment their beer (which we got to select and put on tap). All of our family and friends who attended the rehearsal dinner raved about the space and the beer, and several of them went back the next day to enjoy the main brewery. :)

Thanks again, Carly and crew, for creating such a beautiful space - we hope to host more events there in the future and would recommend this space to anyone looking in the Frederick area!

Only place around making beer like this. Excellent barrel aged beer without being lazy as hell and throwing any random dark beer in a bourbon barrel and calling it a day. Beer is unique, complex and very drinkable. The Fredericka series of sour beer with fruit is exceptional. Small Time is another favorite. Also happens to be one of the most well decorated/attractive taprooms. 10/10 recommend.

Love this spot. The beer is delicious but the ambiance is where it's at! Come for the beer and stay for the vibe.

Amazing Beer. If you like barrel aged anything (wine) do yourself a favor and pop in for a glass of the Cherry Farmboy. Fans of Russian River Brewing's Consecration will certainly appreciate this diamond in Frederick's Brewing Community. A real gem already.

Continued staff excellence, with great beer, in a separate tasting space a short walk from the anchor brewery location. No kids and no dogs was a plus here.

Some of the best sours and complex aged beers Frederick has to offer. Definitely a nice change of pace from the typical brewery
