Really nice property just outside of downtown Frederick. Beers were good as well! They had a good selection of IPAs and pale ales. Great place to spend a sunny day.

I went on Saturday during their grand opening weekend. We went around three PM. We were greeted by a few high school age young men who guided us to parking.

We entered through the side entrance where all of the outdoor seating and patio is. There are dozens and dozens of nice sturdy picnic style tables with most covered by umbrellas.

There was an outdoor pour station that had all beers except for the Homebrew which was inside only.

The indoors is nice and a decent sized table space for indoor seating. There were I believe two or three registers to order beer. One person took your order and another stood by and listened and immediately went and poured your beer so you weren’t waiting around.

The beer was tasty and a nice mix of IPAs, hazy, English ale and Pilsner. I liked the plastic cups with the logo on it. They also were giving away free stickers. I collect brewery stickers so that was an awesome bonus for me. This is one if not the only I have seen in Maryland that you can get pitchers of beer. Cool idea for a group of people, especially on a hot day.

It was my understanding they had a food truck for each day of the weekend. I am not sure if they will have a food truck every day they are open in the future. The truck on the day I went was a nice mix of Greek and Mexican food (D’s Delights). The wait was long but the food was tasty.

I will definitely be back in the future. It seems they have plenty of awesome ideas in the future like four packs of beer to go.

Brand new nano brewery, really cool staff, nice beer selection. Lovely facility. Bring out the family, there's plenty of room to play.

I had the chocolate thunder, surprising choice for the current trends, really well put together, great balance and profile. I was able to acquire a crowler during the soft open, thanks a lot guys, I appreciate it.

Great brewery in frederick offering plenty of open spaces, picnic tables, and indoor seating. pet and kid friendly with a play set and slide. on tap for opening day included 4 ipas, stout, pilsner, and a low alcohol homebrew. Firepits are available now for the winter. Typically, they release a small batch series on the weekend that have featured some really good IPAs. For the fall there are some great pumpkin and octoberfest beers available and outstanding winter stouts.

Great Beer! I had the Golden Hour IPA and their popular "Yellow Frizzy Beer", which was great for a hot afternoon. The staff is friendly and the view is spectacular. There is a ton of picnic tables and a lot of them have shade, which is great for families and people like me who hate the sun. You really can't beat an afternoon at Prospect Point Brewing!

There are many good breweries in Frederick, but few offer the atmosphere at Prospect Point. The scenery is beautiful and there's tons of room for thr kiddos to run around. They always have lawn games on-hand and plan on installing a playground. It's a family owned business and the owners are always on hand to happily discuss their beers, the property, future plans for the business, etc. Finally the beer is delicious and fairly priced, they even offer pitchers (for all but the highest abv offerings).

I have come here twice with groups of parents and kids and both times were excellent! Tons of space for kids to run around, great beer and the food trucks have been good too! My kids especially enjoyed ice cream last night from Sprinkled Cow!

Cool little location. you come in the front door and there's some sort ahhhh to it. I think it's the lights reflecting making a full circle. All the beers were great. Had 2 flights and 6/8 were 4+ so that's great!

Updating this review. My family and I always try to stop here once a week or so. Every time we go, it's the same great service, great prices, and last but not least, an awesome atmosphere !! I have small children, and they love the playground and apple juice packets. There is plenty of parking and lots of outdoor space to sit and move around. The beers are all very good.

I have been to a number of microbreweries in the DMV area. This place serves excellent beer in a relaxing setting with a wonderful staff! Not all of the microbreweries can state that in this day and age. While still relatively new, this has potential for future growth while still maintaining a down home country feel to it. The ownership definitely got it right when they opened this place. Very impressed.

Great beer and atmosphere. The Firestone food truck was also very tasty. We took our two year old after a morning of hiking and had a lovely afternoon hanging outside.

It was a beautiful blue sky cloudless day for our first visit to Prospect Point. We had the Home Brew and the Fizzy. Both delicious. And the empanadas from the food truck were very tasty and reasonably priced.

Great beers, clean taphouse, dog friendly. Beertender and owner were fun to talk to. Flights are available. Lots of outdoor space. Heaters under the tent in winter. Food trucks available often.
