Dusty is an awesome guy and knows his shi... Stuff!!! Love a good true local owner who has been around for years in Oside and has a very dedicated fan bass! Ha! Dusty's is the best!!

I was new to the Oside area- needed some new strings- and found these guys through Google. Was pleasantly surprised by the vibe there. Since then I purchased two guitars, the most recent being a 12-string. These guys are not only knowledgeable and friendly, they are also very generous. They offered me a great deal on the instrument and then threw in some freebies and discounts on accessories. I am very happy with my purchases and will continue to use Dusty's for my forever music addiction!

Needed to pick up a couple sets of guitar strings for a friend's gig tonight. Excellent local music store, primarily guitars but also amps and a little bit of something for everyone. Super conveniently located right on the coast highway. Local music shops like this are great to have around.

My kids are starting guitar lessons and I was looking to get them both a reasonably priced guitar. Dusty’s seemed like a safe bet as it was clear they had second-hand items as well as new. I wasn’t looking for a super fancy, polished place-I just needed something practical for my beginners.
This place was legit! I could tell right off the bat that the guy who was helping us, who it turns out was Dusty himself, was great with kids. He immediately determined the size they needed and proceeded to go out of his way to give me a good deal so we could make something work for both of them. He showed my boys how to tune the guitars, offered them some picks and really just kept them engaged the whole time. We all left happy! Whether you’re a beginner or very experienced Dusty’s is comfortable, down-to-earth spot with good vibes to pick up a quality instrument or to have one repaired. The guys working there seem to really just love what they do!

We bought a Jazzmaster with active pickup (which I'd never experienced) from Dusty a few weeks back and it's quickly become one of my favorite guitars I've ever owned.

Didn’t mind me playing a few guitars prior to my purchase, but I notice some people with no plan to purchase just want to handle all the guitars handle& play , just want a place to hang out Day in & day out, it is a business a place to purchase a great gift for family, friends, or yourself. I just wanted something simple to practice on. This was a great experience. He said can j help you, I said what I needed and he had me kitted up in 5 minutes. Guitar, bag, strings and picks. It was exactly what needed and at a great price. I will be back for anything else I need.

I am thankful to Dusty's for helping me to pick and sending spare parts for my two left handed Ovation guitars all the way to Denmark - parts that I had been searching for for years. Even threw in a set of Adamas strings for free! Very quick and kind service.

Dusty's is my new favorite place to go for gear. Dusty is helpful, kind, and he knows his stuff! His staff is very knowledgeable as well, and I've found what I'm looking for every time I've paid them a visit. I took my Martin in there for a tuneup a couple weeks ago and now she's playing better than ever. You gotta check this place out. Definitely a local gem.

Stopped by for some strings today and I think I dealt with the man himself. Was very helpful helping me find the type of strings I was looking for. When I got home I slapped them on my Martin and he was absolutely right! They were the perfect balance I was looking for. The strings were Martin custom lights for acoustic in case anyone was wondering. A good balance between light and medium in my opinion. Would definitely recommend the shop as I'll definitely be back. Support local!

Friendly service and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommended! The charming southern gentleman behind the counter took care to work within our budget and he really knew his stuff. He knew exactly what we needed and he made sure we didn't buy an overpriced version of the item we were after. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

This is a great guitar shop. I bought my guitar from Dusty's years ago. The quality of their guitars are great. They do an awesome job cleaning and tuning it up for me. I highly recommend this shop.
