I arrived at 50 minutes to close which I know can be risky but I was invited in without hesitation.

Everyone I encountered was very friendly and extremely professional, yet also personable.

Isaac, the bartender was very good and keeping track of me and the other guests. He also made a very sound recommendation for my dinner

I ended up with Elk Rib Chop. The consistency of the meat was slightly chewy, but offered good flavor. My salad was great and the accompanying potatoes and vegetables were excellent. Mixed drinks were on par. The bread and butter were equally satisfying.

Overall, dining here was a great experience. I'm also happy to report that I accidentally left my cc with the check. The assisting waiter ran out after me and caught me in the parking lot. Thank you very much for taking me down! - losing that cc would have caused me a lot of grief on the rest of my trip.

I'll be sure to stop in again on my next trip through town. Excellent job to everyone there.

We absolutely love everything about Glen Eagles!!! The food is fantastic with a huge selection to choose from. We've made it a monthly date night stop. Jessica, the lounge waitress is the best. The ambiance is super chill, and it feels like everyone knows each other. All around, great time!!

After a very long drive from Klamath Falls, we were very hungry and ready to have an early dinner. Glen Eagles was 2 minutes from our hotel and I liked what I saw on their online menu. They also have a black board with daily specials by the door. Fortunately, they have a table for us. The server was very courteous and helpful in identifying something without garlic for me. We chose crab cakes and Chicken Picatta. Chicken is usually the last thing on the menu that that I would choose, but since we've been having fish a lot, I thought I would balance my diet with something else that contains B12. I enjoyed the chicken, and in particular, the baked potato which is something I haven't had for years. And of course, steamed broccoli is always my favourite vegetable. We had key lime pie for dessert. The ambiance in the room we were at was good except we found the sparkly table weird and unrestful. I believe we've picked the best restaurant in Carson City.

Glen Eagles is now my favorite restaurant in the Carson Valley! The original ranch building is over 100 years old and has wonderful atmosphere. The food is delicious and the presentation is outstanding! The Rosemary Pasta is highly recommended should absolutely be followed by the Tres Leche desert. The service is the best part, Isaac and Kenny are the best!!! Altogether, a wonderful experience!

My husband took me out to dinner for our anniversary. We ordered baked green lip mussels for an appetizer which were served nice and hot. We both ordered the Alaskan King Salmon and it was excellent. Service was amazing and atmosphere warm and inviting

Absolutely wonderful! The food was great and atmosphere was enjoyable. our server and her helper were awesome! The hostess could have smiled a little but no big deal! I enjoyed my first Tomahawk steak ever because it was much more reasonably priced than the big city over priced places. Needless to say, it was awesome! I would recommend this place for great food and friendly service.

Absolutely wonderful! The food was great & worth every penny. What really made our night was the hostess/server! I'm pretty sure her name is Jessica, per our receipt, but she was amazing, so welcoming & topped our visit off with a little anniversary surprise cheesecake 🤗

A popular spot in Carson for a fine dining experience that doesn't require you to get all dressed up. Fresh seafood is on point here. Big portions in a quiet setting with a friendly staff make this gem a must visit.

So here's the thing about dining in Carson City: There are a lot of OK local options. What there aren't, at least in 2023, are a lot of really special places. You know - the kind of place you'd go for a really romantic dinner, a major anniversary, a big celebration of life and its major events. The kind of place you go knowing you want to remember the meal for a long time.

That's where Glen Eagles comes in.

It's intimate and utterly charming from the moment you walk in the door. Everyone you interact with, from the owner who might be up front to the hostess who seats you and may bring your water, to the quirky and charming serving staff, all feel like they're fully committed to your experience. No one's phoning it in; everyone is warm and friendly.

And none of that means they're overly formal or stuck up -- you're likely to see people in t-shirts, Northern Nevada cowboy wear, maybe even someone in a suit. All are welcome.

And the food! Someone in the kitchen is focused on being both brilliant at the basics and innovative with the classics. So staples like a French onion soup, a bread roll, or the mashed potatoes on your plate are consistently delicious and very well prepared. But that doesn't mean it's all cookie cutter; the peppercorn steak I had recently emphasized notes of green peppercorn in the sauce -- a delicious update on a classic, welcome and unexpected.

And the ice cream! I know, I know.. it's just ice cream. Except: It isn't just ice cream. It's local and one of the flavors -- custom for Glen Eagles as I understand it -- mimics a See's Candy bordeaux. Flawless.

Whether you've lived here for decades or are just passing through, give yourself a treat and visit this restaurant. I hope you're as happily surprised and delighted as I was.

My mother and I went to Glen Eagles for my birthday. The service was wonderful! The food, amazing! This restaurant is a wonderful place for any occasions, but perfect for those special occasions. I do recommend reservations!!!!

I was taken here for my birthday and it was phenomenal!! I am extremely picky about my steak, and the filet mignon I had here was absolutely delicious.
I highly recommend eating here. The ambiance was just lovely. Do plan on spending a bit more time (and money) on a meal here, but again, so worth it.

Best place to go for amazing food and great service. The best place in carson you can go. I go there about once a month. So worth it.

This was the first time I’ve been there in a long time, too long. Everything was perfect. We were celebrating my friends mothers birthday she was 102 years old in April. We had a great meal, cream of asparagus soup was the right temp, warm enough to eat, delicately flavored, lobster dinners were perfectly prepared everything was delicious all the way to the deserts. This is on my top 5 list of restaurants in the Reno-Sparks and Carson City area. The staff was so welcoming and took great care of us. Thank you for that. I’ll be back here again sooner than later.

Food, atmosphere and the serving are great! We didn't have reservations but still accommodate us. Most upscale restaurant in Carson.

A lovely restaurant and wonderful service from everyone. The food is delicious- the steak is so good, and per my partner the blackened salmon was cooked to perfection. We highly recommend this restaurant for date nights and special occasions. We look forward to enjoying the patio next time!

This place has never let me down. I've had some amazing dinners here, to include juicy Steaks, perfect Elk chops, tender Beef Liver, amazing Salmon Oscar and buttery Mediterranean Sea Bass...... my mouth is watering now just thinking about it. Glen Eagles is fine dinning with a down home comfortable feel. Definitely give them a try!

Great date night place to impress in Carson City. Got the old style steak house feel with dark wooden walls and dim lights. All the food ever tried is excellent and the staff really want to make a positive impression on everyone dining.
