Monical's Pizza

Driving through Bloomington on our return home from St. Louis and we couldn't pass up Monical's. Got a side salad and personal pizza to go - both were excellent, as we've always come to expect. I believe that we heard that this location was the spot where the very first Steak 'n Shake opened, but did not confirm this.

I wish I could remember our waiters name because he was absolutely wonderful (we came on the evening of 4/9/2024 if that helps). He was very friendly and helpful. We had a very large group and he made everything go very smoothly. All of the food was really good as is typical for monicals but the waiter really made it a pleasant experience.

Nice simple place with Italian style food and more than fair prices. Not for pizza only! Very friendly staff. Decent size portions ( actually, I got full with half of the salad and half lasagna). Open till 9 pm. Thank you for that. At 5 pm on Sunday the restaurant was half full. Good place to come with your family and friends.

My go to pizza spot when I'm visiting Bloomington, reasonably priced , clean environment, and great pizza.

We were there on Valentine's day and the place was hoppin all the way around. They only had one wait staff for the dining room but she did great. Our pizza and sandwiches were very good.

The restaurant was not too full when I went and was very cozy. I got my food very quickly and it tasted AMAZING and didn't fall apart like some places. The service was also very respectful and polite.

Amazing experience! We were driving through and ordered ahead. The staff had our starters already set up at a table when we arrived. Friendly staff and awesome pizza, some of the best I’ve had in some time. Would definitely recommend and come back again.

My grown daughter and grown son. One grandchild had a wonderful day ☺ and the pizza was awesome. I usually go to Robin's for pizza but my daughter asked to go to Monica's was surprised when it tasted ok . Pricey though

The best BBQ Chicken pizza and great service, love this place!!!!

They accidentally gave me the wrong order in the drive, I didn’t realize until I got home.
I called to let them know and they got me the correct order ASAP. Excellent customer service!

Had a great experience, really good food. Both the thin crust and the pepperollies were amazing! Amazing service as well, super friendly employees.

My children and I went to redeem coupons they received from the public library. My order was taken but my name wasn't. Pulled back up to get my order my children's pizza was a little burnt overall okay. Won't be going back.

The staff is always friendly and it’s so cool to watch your pizza being made behind the counter. I’ve dined in and the service has been great. I’ve ordered for delivery and they are quick. I’ve also walked in to order for carry out and the pizza only took less than 10 minutes to make so it made stopping by worth it. I keep coming back to this place because the pizza is always cooked to perfection! I love seeing the same staff each time I go :)

A Bloomington/Normal and surrounding area staple. Their thin crust pizza can't be beat, always perfectly cooked, and deliciously topped. I would put their red dressing on nearly anything :-). They have great sides and salad and I've never had bad service at their establishments.

Food is great manager sucked. Older short heavy-set lady had absolutely no personality whatsoever. And maybe a slight attitude. Too bad your location in El Paso it's not open at the moment. Love the people the food great personality. I travel between Minnesota and South Carolina and stop at Monical's anytime I come in the area where there is one. Bet experience at this one.

It was a good place to eat, very clean, good social distancing and all the employees were wearing masks and gloves. The pizza was at a nice hot temp and the salad was nice and cool and fresh, the waitress we had was very knowledgeable and very friendly. All in all I recommend eating here.

The service was fast, the food was good. The server made recommendations and we tried that and it was awesome. Very nice and polite, clean, I would definitely recommend giving them a try.
