One of my fav places along the C&O canal is the boat landing off of Taylor's Landing Rd. Nestled between dam #4 and boat ramp is awesome towpath where one can see nature at it finest, butterflies, grey heron, woodpeckers, barn owls , seasonal flowers, tree species, deer and yes toilet at boat ramp and porta-potty towards dam 4. Enjoy your visit.

Amazing sunsets any season! Good place for kayaks. Great nature along the C&O Canal, away from the regular high traffic in other areas of C&O Towpath. Working farms along the way.

Wonderful, many people launched kayaks, for trips down river to shepardstown, West Virgina. Lots of bicycles 🚲 stopping to view river. Many fisherman and hikers on the toe path. Great place to visit if you love people and the outdoors!

It's been a while since we have seen ice on the Potomac River. Especially in December.

The him is so peace and if you pay attention to the on side away from be there river there is actually a cave that runs back into he hill which is so amazing the roof looks like it is covered in good I could go in there so many times and never not be amazed the cave is actually a pretty big cave you can get lost so bring caving gear and watch your step!! Be safe and enjoy your adventure they actually have helpful posters to find the cave so not hard to find

I went here while I was sight seeing on a road trip. Very pretty place with adequate parking and a public restroom. Didn't take a boat so I can't comment on the ramp.

My favorite place I was lucky to live within a mile of for 22 years. Nice boat ramp and Canal hike. And clean bathrooms too.

Nice small landing but not for the bigger boats. You may want to look into how big of a boat you can put in the water there before you put in .

Great takeout place for rafting on the Potomac. We usually put in a few miles west at Dam 4 road.
