Don Nacho’s Café

The family took a trip to Solvang to experience something different. We had a wonderful time but had a hankering for some Mexican food and found this local spot. Unless you know where this spot is, you can easily walk by it and miss it. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious. We didn't spend enough time out in Solvang, definitely will be back and definitely will stop at this spot.

Great taco place in solvang! Everything was very good and filling. The beans and rice go perfect with their chips. They even gave us some extra chips for free and a refill on horchata. We will be coming back whenever we're back in town!

You walk in to a warm feeling of home.
The owner is always warm and gracious, he serves you himself.
Always order the chips and salsa. Always.

I had 4 street tacos, chicken, carne asada, carnitas and al pastor. Traditional size and style, served with cilantro and onions.

We also had the chicken fajitas. Good portions and great flavor on the meat as well as rice/beans.

Solid flavor on all food, fair prices and all different types of Mexican and local beers.

Great food! Reasonable prices considering it’s a tourist town. I 100% recommend the sopes with asada meat. The service is great, employees are nice and friendly and your food is served pretty quick, I’d say the wait time was less than 10 minutes.

I loved it! Great service, great food (would recommend the carnitas taco plate). Really niche place, deserves a lot of love.

Picked up a bunch of food for the family, I live in Solvang and had never tried this place. I wish I would have come in sooner! It will now be my “go to” place for Mexican Food in the valley. I fed 6 people on 75$ and had a beer while waiting. Great prices, the tacos are fantastic, the burritos aren’t huge like other places, but for 12$ what more do you want! Filled me up!

My wife and kids absolutely loved their taco salads (tostada), even the bottom of the taco bowl was crispy!

A must try!

The "nachos supreme" was a lot smaller than we expected but it was very tasty.

A must-visit for fellow vegetarians! The staff here is as sweet as the treats they serve.

My wife and I stopped in for lunch. She ordered sopes w/beans and rice and I had 3 tacos (Carne asada and 1 al pastor) . The meat in the tacos was tender and had good flavor. My wife really liked the sopes and the beans and rice seemed homemade with good flavor and the rice was very fluffy. The green salsa they brought with the food was real good!

Small, unassuming location where you walk up and order from a counter. But boyyyyy do they deliver on the taste! My husband had the taco salad with chicken, our daughter the cheese quesadilla, and I three street tacos. So, so, good! The salsa packs a peppery punch, so be prepared. This place is incredible in a random Dutch tourist town - highly recommend.

best soft tacos in town by far. Delicious. I wish they would add breakfast burritos to their menu.

They need to offer extra large salsa for sale.

Nicely prepared, fresh veggies. We had chile and cheese papusas and carne asada sopes. Both were delicious. José and Veronica were friendly and obviously loved what they did.

This food was the best I came in with high expectations and it did not disappoint the best food I have had in the longest time. 10/10 would definitely come here more. The service and the community at this work place was very well it’s deserve the 5 star rating.

WOW! You would miss this place unless you searched for it on Google. Wife ordered the Asada Nachos and a chicken tacos, i ordered an Asada burrito and we totally devoured the food. Meats and chicken are so tender and juicy and very tasty. Both green and red salsas are very good, we especially enjoyed the way they use 2 different cheese on the nachos. Very good food.

Picked up lunch to go for the first time at Don Nacho’s and they exceeded all my expectations!
I had the Carne Asada burrito and my husband had Beef Enchiladas in red sauce.
One of the best burritos in the valley!
Excellent and friendly service.
Can’t wait to go back and try more dishes.

Best food Ever!! We loved the Carne Asada tacos, burrito, guacamole, chips , salsa, and the taco salad. Everything we ordered was delicious. Best Mexican restaurant in Solving. My whole family loved it!! Amazing service! I rate it a ten out of ten!!!
