Good Seed Coffee Boutique

My favorite coffee or tea place when in Solvang. I always visit the Boutique and plan to sit down and relax.
The service is amazing, soothing and professionally friendly.
Their coffee and tea menu are worth trying every single one, to then come back to your favorite.
They have Herbal tea options for the days I avoid caffeine. I truly love it.
I hope your experience is as amazing and/or better than mine.
One last note, there isn’t a lot of food items for my lactose restrictions but they few they have are good but not good enough for me to buy it again since I needed a lot of coffee and water to try to balance the strong flavor.
I’ll update once I revisit the Boutique and take a picture of the item with the name.

I am a regular at this coffee shop every time I’m in Solvang or passing through. This visit my wife got a hot chocolate alongside my usual mocha. Surprisingly I found myself enjoying her hot chocolate even more than my mocha which says a lot about the quality of both drinks! They also offer a few vegan bakery items. We tried the chocolate chip bread which was great – not overly sweet just how we like it. The prices are slightly higher compared to big chain coffee shops with the mocha at ~$6 and both the hot chocolate and cookie at ~$5 each but I am big supporter of independent coffee places and this one has definitely earned our loyalty. They’ve secured a lifelong customer in us

One of the best coffee places. I tried the charcoal oatmilk and it was amazing. We also tried the americano and hot chocolate. Everybody was happy with their drinks.

We stopped into Solvang on our way down to San Diego and were looking for a nice pick-me-up.
I ended up ordering a maple latte with almond milk as well as a grated grapefruit sugar cookie and a rosemary cheese scone. Absolutely loved the scone, especially with cream cheese! The rosemary gave lovely savory touch to the fluffy cheesy richness. I’ve never had grated grapefruit in a cookie before as was pleasantly surprised at the freshness it gave to the cookie.
The latte had a good earthiness to it though the maple was a touch bit too sweet so I’d ask for less next time.
Great cozy space with plenty of seating and super friendly employees. They knew a few customers names too which stood out as it always reassuring to see regulars when visiting a new cafe.

If you are in Solvang, this is a MUST to stop for coffee! The espresso was amazing & was some of the best coffee i’ve ever had. HIGHLY recommend!

Great coffee, very nice service. I love that they have real coffee cups - ceramic and glass - beautiful and nice to drink coffee from. Artisan bread with butter is delicious. Thank you, guys fir the experience!

I wasn’t quite sure what to get but the barista at least helped me out and it turned out that I really liked the maple latte. The shop in and of itself is pretty nice and cozy. A bit pricey for a cup of latte but it’s expected .

It's hard to express in words the anticipation and pleasure of visiting a city you've never been to.
If you visit such a charming place and taste much more delicious coffee & beer than you think and go sightseeing, it will also be very enjoyable.
As I said, most of the cafes they do at Roaster have a good taste of coffee.
As soon as I entered this place, I immediately thought that the coffee would taste good.
Because the coffee bean type had a grinder and the espresso machine also had a very good machine.
The customer service of the barista was good and the interior decoration is very simple and stylish.
The cup was also using a good quality cup and the design of the furniture was very good.
I drank Medium roasted coffee on Brazil and Guatemalan blended coffee beans with excellent acidity.

Had the pleasure of popping into Good Seed this morning as I was craving an iced latte and it did not disappoint! Both Mason and Chelsea were so warm, friendly, and helpful! I got one of their sourdough toasts (with berries and Nutella) as well as a hand pie to go! Both come in gluten free (GF) options! They also had some GF and Vegan cookies and things too. Highly recommend!

My only regret is getting everything to go because it's a super dog friendly cozy atmosphere.

We are visiting Solvang for a day and we were told that this place has the best coffee. I’m not a big fan of their coffee, but the Matcha is the best I’ve had. It is very high-quality ceremonial Matcha. you can really taste the Matcha and you can tell it’s a very good quality by the color. They also have a lot of gluten-free options for pastries.

Don't miss a good coffee here! Recommended for coffee enthusiasts and also anyone who wants to try something new at their original coffee take. If you love a grab and go coffee while you're taking a nice stroll around the Solvamg town, take a stop at this place. It's equally good to sit and have a calming cup while you're working on something

Great little coffee shop! I wish we had tried this one first when we got to town, it definitely ended up being our favorite in the area. We had lattes, kombucha, chocolate milk, and breakfast bowls on our first visit and came back again the next day just for more lattes.

My husband and I are always on the hunt for a good coffee shop while traveling and the good seed did not disappoint us! What a beautiful space; the staff was wonderful, coffee and food were delicious!

A nice find! Stumbled on this cool little cafe as we passed through Solvang, CA. Clearly a popular spot early on a Sunday morning and the espresso was worth the wait. Very good caffe latte also. Recommend!

As a modern day Droopy I approached the counter pleading for clarity via caffeine. I ordered myself a few drinks and huddled in the peaceful corner. This is a quiet place. This is the way. Excellent coffee served in gorgeous pottery. The music isn’t too loud nor the people working. It feels mindful.
You don’t deserve this place, but I’m working on honesty as I fear to lose the hush over the room. Come on in and check it out, order a cup of slap in the face, and thank you for coming to my Ted talk.

Great coffee with better customer service. The woman at the register helped guide me to a maple cinnamon latte that was fantastic. It’s clear they passionately care about their coffee and your experience.

Best coffee I’ve had (still having) 5th day in the USA, went back for a second cup! Street parking is close by & free too.

Lovely coffee shop with a few nice outdoor seats. I love the coffee mugs for hot latte, but would more recommend flat white! Strong coffee smell with a slightly sweet back taste!
