First Watch

Had brunch here for the first time today, and to say that I was impressed would be an understatement. It was a very good sign that they were absolutely slammed, and the meal was without question worth the wait. The restaurant is gorgeous and very clean and inviting, and the staff here is friendly and attentive - we were regularly checked on to make sure we were enjoying our experience. Even something as simple as the coffee was really delicious and a great way to start the meal, and the variety of creamers available on the table was much appreciated. Really good iced coffee as well. The food was likewise incredible! I got the lemon ricotta pancakes and an order of million dollar potatoes, and everything was phenomenal. The lemon curd on the pancakes was delicious and so fresh tasting, and played well against the fresh berries and the perfectly cooked pancakes. The syrup was excellent - warm and very flavorful, but not exceedingly sweet. Just right, honestly. The potatoes were probably the best breakfast potatoes I've had in a restaurant: well seasoned, and the cheese sauce and bacon were wonderful additions to something that, at first glance, didn't really need improvement. I left full and really pleased with the experience... I'll definitely be back to try some lunch options in the future!

Wow what a gem of a place to eat! Service was excellent by our server, Cami. She made some great suggestions that we took and were not disappointed! They have a great menu with plenty of healthy and vegan options, sweet and savory too. Great coffee and beverage choices too. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. Restaurant was nice, bright and clean. Definitely recommend!

We had a large party come to this First Watch location after a soccer game, and the whole experience was great! From the wonderful hostess, Delaney, to the manager, who ran to get one of our injured players a bag of ice, to our server, Jessica Purdue, everything was top-notch!

Fresh ingredients with a good variety of food and drinks for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. My mom and I had lunch here for a birthday treat and we both enjoyed our meals. The orange juice was fresh and tasty and the mixed juice beverage was delicious. Service was quick and pleasant. The employees seemed to really care about customers enjoying their time here. Definitely a place I would return.

Great piece of Winston Salem! We are definitely a mini food mecca and places like this show you why. It's made with real ingredients, and it's made to perfection. All the good we had actually had flavor and its own unique taste which is not always the case with all places. It's also amazing that they rotate new items in and out. The service was additionally great and even other staff were attentive to us, it's a great place to bring kids and a warm environment that reminds you that good food and good vibes are just around the corner.

This place is very unique, healthy, and is a great place to try. I drove 35 minutes to get to this place. If I were you though I would book a table online before going because they are packed!!

Excellent food with numerous healthy options. The outside is a little misleading meaning that the atmosphere and aesthetics on the inside is very pleasing. The service was also excellent….Teresa took very good care of us and took the time to explain the menu in length. You will not be disappointed.

Our brunch was absolutely delicious and the customer service was amazing. Rob, our server, was great, I had the Floridian French Toast with delicious hot syrup, that’s right it was perfect in temp. The raspberry preserves and fresh fruit were amazing. I highly recommend this place for a nice brunch. Check in online is a plus.

This place is absolutely amazing. I was seated extremely quickly, the place was clean, the service was amazing, the food was both health and delicious. I honestly can say enough good things about this place. The thing that surprised me the most was the cleanliness however. The weights that brought me my food was extremely attentive as well.

I will have to say this isn’t my first rodeo with first watch but it won’t be my last. I had A recent experience where i ordered food through Uber eats and the food came out absolutely terrible, but when i reached out the manager at the Clemmons franchise he was absolutely nothing less than short of amazing. He made sure my food was taken care and went the extra mile to show how apologetic the company was for the food i was Delivered. In this day and age it’s not all about what’s done but how it’s handled and i can say they have the right manager for the job. Thank you for your impeccable work ! May God continue to bless this franchise.

The First Watch Experience (Dine-in Edition). So let me say I have never been to First Watch before. I looked online for Breakfast places near, and First Watch came up. After viewing their menu, I knew I had to eat there. On their website, I had the opportunity to select "Get In Line" before my arrival. Once arriving, I was seated immediately. I like the openness of this place, and the restrooms were clean as well. I viewed the menu and knew I wanted a waffle/pancake, bacon, and egg plate. I asked the gentleman who waited on me if he preferred pancakes or waffles, and he told me waffles.

So I ordered the Trifecta that came with two eggs, a choice of Belgian waffle, or a multigrain pancake plus meat. While looking around the restaurant, I noticed they sold adult drinks. I left my ID in my car, so after obtaining my ID, I ordered a pomegranate sunrise. This drink was tasty and made me feel like I was waking up on some exotic tropical island. The food was delicious, too, and left me wanting more. The service was excellent, and I hate I did not get the gentleman's name who waited on me and allowed me to pick his brain for his favorites. So I will be back, and I cannot wait to bring a friend or two along to try the food.

Varied menu. Some interesting selections. Excellent portions. Good service. Ricotta pancakes with lemon curd 😋 ...so fluffy and delicious. Crispy bacon. Potatoes are good, not an onion fan. Mimosas were delightful. $$$

Second time here and had their lunch…Great food! Reasonably priced! Friendly service! I did have a mishap with my soup, but they quickly corrected it!
Tried their Pineapple Express Refresher… very delicious 😋…

Million Dollar Bacon, you gotta try this. I wish they used a thicker slice, but it was awesome.

Wow! Incredible place for breakfast or brunch.
The meal and service was 5 Star and their specials and seasonal menus will impress.
I had an incredible burrito with fresh eggs, grilled potatoes, turkey, vinegar onions, black beans, and an incredible sauce . The soup of the day ( Italian Wedding ) was homemade and out of this world good. I was passing thru from the coast, but will make this a brunch destination and willing to drive from my home in Conover, NC - well worth the drive.

First time here for breakfast. I got the shrimp and grits with Pineapple Express to drink. Her the works omelet with Purple Haze to drink. It was so good we can’t wait to come back and try other dishes

Overall Thoughts: As a whole, I’d give this location 4.6 Stars. The staff interactions were pleasant. The food is good, they put their own spin on breakfast food.

I LOVE First Watch. They have awesome customer service. I love their menu as well and they have great seasonal drinks as well. My favorite server has to be Teresa! She is so nice and always checks in to make sure everything is good!

I was really impressed by the service here above all else, so whatever management is doing is working - good job! It's been rare lately to get good service anywhere, so I definitely plan to spend my money at places that appreciate their customers. The food was also impressive. We had cocktails, a seasonal punch, a cinnamon roll, and entrees which were all delicious. Thank you for a great experience that enhanced our Sunday quality time together instead of being disappointing.
