The Chapel Restoration

The Chapel restoration is unique and spectacular. My wedding couldn't have been more beautiful, the acoustics are amazing, the interior is lovely in it's simplicity and the river backdrop puts it over the top. What a wonderful place!

The Chapel Restoration is THE perfect wedding ceremony venue in the Hudson Valley. It’s charming, beautiful, and the acoustics are amazing! If music factors into your wedding at all, don’t hesitate to book this place. The chapel’s music director hooked us up with amazing professional string and organ players. Stephen the event coordinator is so helpful and kind, and his assistant Linda was a lifesaver helping to carry my train in the pouring rain. Thank you again, we couldn’t have pulled it off without you!!

My wedding ceremony was held at The Chapel in September of 2017. It was absolutely lovely! The piano and organ were both exceptional instruments and added an elegant ambiance to the ceremony. I loved the way the room looked in pictures, with minimalist period decor. The scenery for outdoor photos, right on the Hudson was just what I wanted. The venue was suitable for our guests, however we did not have guests with mobility issues. The walking paths are rocky and could potentially cause problems for some people - the restrooms are located in another building and require walking on those paths and stairs. The space designated for the bride to use for preparation was adequate, though not luxurious or even homey in any way. I am so happy with my memories of the day and the part The Chapel played in it.

We were married at the Chapel this November (2016). The Chapel sits right on the banks of the Hudson, and is truly spectacular. The inside is totally unique, with bucket pews from the 1800's and a chandelier of real candles. Everything about it is breathtaking! We worked with Marie Early, the Chapel coordinator, who couldn't have been more nice or accommodating. We stopped by multiple times, changed the rehearsal time more than once, and sent her probably 50 texts in the weeks leading up to the wedding. She was always totally accommodating, and extremely quick to get back to us on any question. She was a pleasure to work with, and was so helpful in making our day truly unforgettable. My husband and I were recently married here and truly could not be any happier with our experience.

Working with Marie was an absolute joy. Besides providing clear and prompt communication, advice, and helping us link up with other local wedding vendors, Marie even carried the train of my wedding dress as I walked up to the chapel so that it would not get muddy. I was very touched by this gesture, and my husband and I greatly appreciated every single staff member who helped set up the chapel and make our wedding day incredible.

The chapel itself is a hidden gem. It is already so unique, historic, and beautiful that the inside requires very little decoration for a wedding ceremony. Our wedding guests kept commenting on how special the chapel and surrounding area felt.

The Chapel Restoration is spectacularly beautiful! I was married there and also attend concerts and readings. It's a unique building with pretty grounds and a gorgeous view of the river.

A beautiful, little gem on the banks of the Hudson RIver! I couldn't think of a better spot for a wedding or special event.

The concert series brings in some of the best musical artists in the world. I heard Toshiko Akiyoshi live at the Chapel Restoration. It is a wonderful experience to hear a great star of music in an intimate space such as this.

Amazing and beautiful historic chapel that hangs over the Hudson River facing West Point.It's a great place to hear some music, catch a poetry reading or just take a long gander at the view.

This is probably one of the most beautiful spots in Cold Spring.. You just hang out & look at the natural beauty for hours or sit & read a book.. But trust me it's so peaceful there if that's what you want.. 😊

As a photographer I have shot a number of weddings and events at this beautiful location and clients are always pleased with its spectacular views and historic charm.

Amazing location. We saw a classical chamber trio perform. Incredible. Looks like they do events once a month.
