Kobe Steak and Sushi McKinney

This was the 24th birthday for my son and we celebrate at Kobe every year. This was a different location than last year but the service and food was impeccable. Dare I say that my medium rare steak was cooked to perfection and that this location may actually be slightly better than the one that we used to go to. We all had a great time! It's a nice tradition that we love carrying on.

Our server and hibachi chef were amazing! Everything was great. Loved the scallops.

The Hibachi chicken for lunch was served with a soup first followed by chicken and vegetables with ample bowl of fried rice. Delicious!

We LOVE Kobe! Always good food, very large portions, we usually to the plate sharing, definitely enough to share. Onion soup is so good! Friendly amazing staff, always happy and remember you! One of our favorite spots for lunch/dinner.

The food was amazing, the people that come to get the food do not know how to park whatsoever. it must be very very hard to park in between 2 lines. Probably easier to park how ever you feel like. No one else matters...

We have been coming for years and always enjoy Kobe over other Hibachi restaurants. Service is always friendly and the quality is great.

Kobe Steak and Sushi is the absolute best Hibachi in North DFW. My wife and I have eaten here countless times in the last two years. Kobe, as we call it has super fresh sushi 🍱 🍣 . The Filet Mignon and Shrimp combo and the Black Pepper Beef are our favorites.

Oh my gosh they put on a great show! Food was great, show was great and my boys LOVED it. My teens ordered swordfish and salmon and they don't even eat fish! I witnesses my teen eat VEGETABLES!

The service was really good! The food was great! With the food allergies I have Asian should not be one of my favorite foods, but it is. It was before I found out about my food allergies and I usually have to make my own at home, but my hubby and I decided to try out Kobe Teppan for our anniversary. I have allergies to broccoli and soy and after the wait staff were notified, my meal was cooked in the main kitchen instead of the hibachi grill, but I still got to sit and watch the hibachi chef cook the food for everyone else. My food arrived separately and only a few minutes after everyone else's meal was done. I feel they were very accommodating and I will definitely be going back in the future! We didn't take our kids this time, but others did bring their kids.

This is our favorite restaurant in McKinney. We've never had a bad meal here.

Reasonably priced. Lunch is a great deal. Kids eat free on weekends. Service is hit or miss, sushi is a C+. Good value.

We have eaten here on numerous occasions and it's always delicious. We recently placed a large to-go order for 12 people. The staff did a fantastic job making sure our order was not only correct....but fresh and hot as well. We love this place!

Amazing food. We had sushi and hibachi for lunch. Staff was nice, the location is clean, and the food is delicious.

Second time here. The 1st time was in January & they seated us with a family who could not control their children. We left overall without eating (it was too much listening to the kids telling their parents off). The staff at that time did not care how uncomfortable this was for us all. Well we tried this place one more time on Friday & it was the totally opposite. Atmosphere, Service & the Food was excellent. Will definitely be back.

For the actual food, this place has superior everything to most hibachi places. The soup, salad dressing, rice, noodles, and protein have all been consistently better than anything else in the area. The environment is low key and the performance is not over the top like it is somewhere else, but we go for the food.. so that is what matters to us.

Large restaurant separated into Hibachi to the left and Sushi on the right. Nice little sushi bar you can sit at also. Sushi side has big wooden blocks to sit on with no cushion so, you might want to bring your own cushion. lol Decent regular menu selections with affordable prices and a good sushi selection also. We were pleased with the taste of our appetizers and sushi and will be going back to try some other items on the menu.

This is a great little hibachi place. We've enjoyed everything we've tried so far. Our favorites are the steak and the scallops. The cooking show is entertaining for the family and the price is right. We've not tried the sushi, only hibachi.

Kobe is amazing, the food is delicious , the place is very clean and cozy, prices are reasonable. We love it!

We usually really like eating here. The food is always delicious. We eat so much we are stuffed! I hope the owner can reply if they use MSG and if we can option to not have it added on our food. Edited thank you for your reply.
