Had the Baked Oatmeal. Wasn't what I expected, it's not like a bowl of oatmeal. It's more like cake. Served with fresh fruit, very good!

Also got the strawberry handpie... it's what a Pop Tart dreams of being someday.

Great little bakery in boerne. It's off the beaten path though. Lots of great selections even late morning and early afternoons. The avocado toast is huge! Baked goods are crispy and soft at the same time. Hope you like butter, because everything has a ton of butter in it.

Checking out the new Bakery Lorraine in Boerne. Love the design and layout of this location which is spacious and has a nice outdoor area with trees and shade. The same offerings at the other locations and a serene vibe.

The staff here is so friendly and attentive and the pastries, French-style cafe fare and coffee are a delight! The indoor and outdoor seating provide a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. We’ve made this a must-stop anytime we’re passing through Boerne.

My parents and I absolutely love meeting up at Bakery Lorraine in Boerne, to dine in, and we do it nearly once a month for lunch. The food is outstanding, every single time. The desserts in the front look sooo delicious scent and are actually works of art! You almost don’t want to eat them…. But then that would be a shame, so go ahead. It is beautiful to behold. My favorite dish is the Reuben sandwich and half salad or soup. Very close to a NYC Reuben. Dad loves the chicken club sandwich. Portions are always extra generous, and we appreciate this because he can share a plate with his wife or save half for later. I also like this coffee shop because it is open through the evening (I heard 8pm, once,) though I haven’t ever gone in the evening. This is roomy, bright a pretty rustic-minimalistic cafe, with lots of natural sunlight. There are a few small outdoor tables too and they are situated underneath shady trees, if you don’t mind your table looking at a gravel parking lot. Indoor seating has never been a wait, you can walk in and don’t need a reservation, there is no stuffiness here. There are always customers but it’s never been packed. It means that if you have a meeting here, it can be in TIME! They always have business. Just enough parking space, too. This place was designed perfectly! It can get a little loud in the back dining room though, the room is cavernous and has minimal decor on the walls, so there is echo. If you’re with someone who has hearing issues caused by background noise, don’t be seated next to the any of the (full) corner tables in the back dining room. It is quite easy to move to a table more towards the middle of the room if you want to have a good long conversation, or, don’t wish to be overheard. The only thing they need to improve upon is assisting guests with where to find the small little water fountain in the back dining room just to get a cup of water. They won’t fill it for you at checkout and (no joke!) I asked two people in one visit where it was, and went back a third time for directions. They weren’t willing to come to the back dining room and show me where the little fountain is. The staff is not going to fawn all over you, they are nice but mostly aloof, and do come often to clear away any clutter during your meal. They definitely keep things looking spotless and uncluttered. As for prices, they’re medium high for brunch, but for food that looks like art and tastes fresh and looks like it deli Heaven, where you can usually get more than one meal out of this purchase, it is ALL WORTH IT. Definitely GO!

Wow! What a hidden gem in the heart of Boerne Texas not too far from San Antonio. As a visitor from out of town I enjoy finding local owned places and this one may be on my top 10 list so far. First, parking was full but spots still available - always a good sign. Delightful atmosphere to the well designed entry and attached rooms. Greeted with the friendliest smile and a heart sized portion of Texas hospitality. Enjoyed asking questions about a few of the menu items and hearing about some of the very special pastries. So hard to choose just one pastry. All looked so fresh and amazing. My only regret is not finding this amazing place sooner. Ordered a sandwich and pastry to go and will try to return before my trip is over. Very nice menu selection and of course the first bite of the pastry was beyond delicious. 5 star plus recommendation for this darling local bakery with breakfast and sandwiches as well.

The desserts were AMAZING! And beautiful!

But the best part was the sweet woman behind the counter. She was so excited about everything she was selling that I thought she was the owner. Nope. Just loves her job! :-)

We love the food, sweets, and service. But for those who have hearing problems or wear hearing aids be sure the weather is nice so you can sit outside. Inside can be very noisy, where there's nothing to absorb all the sounds.

Espresso is always fresh, no matter if I'm on the go or stopping in to remote work for a while. Great selection of seating options and easy bites to accompany a rustic yet cozy atmosphere - always a great choice no matter your company!

Very happy with the cake. Life happened and we ended up not having the party it was meant for, but they saved it while we were traveling back to Texas and we still get to enjoy the cake. And it’s delicious. Thank you!

5 stars for delicious Cuban sandwich, good customer service, clean restaurant, well staffed, and lovely ambience.
I wish it was a slightly lower price point and I could justify getting that Cuban more often! Shoot, I’d order half at half price! Because it was a very generous portion. Wish they had coffee other than Merritt. 🫢
Overall very happy with my lunch date and will be back.

Got hooked on Kouign Amman pastry in Cambridge (Caffe Nero), glad to find a source in TX. Beautiful addition to Boerne's offerings for catching up with friends and family!

I wish you could order 1/2 a sammie and a cup of soup. But the food is simple but excellent. $10 bucks for a thing of soup is pretty steep.

Highly recommend this bakery. I’ll def be back

Clean place, friendly and quick staff, easy parking, nice outdoor patio area. I tried the pop tart, vanilla latte, and pumpkin muffin. All were very good! The coffee was smooth and not very acidic at all!
Definitely will be back

Not sure if these are baked daily with that being said they the German chocolate could have been a little bit more moist but filling was delicious
The Red Velvet was pretty good

A+ for a nostalgic atmosphere, nice perseveration of a Boerne Landmark
A+ for tantalizing menu, bright flavors, rich ingredients. Must try the veggie quiche --- it's amazing.
During the HEAT of the summer, we felt bad for the cashiers as they seemed to suffer from the kitchen's heat. I hope they find a way to make their working conditions more suitable.
