The Whale Tea

The Whale Tea was a nice place to stop by. In one week, I went there twice. You order and paythrough the kiosk located right when u enter the store. The service was friendly and I personally would reccomend getting the mango fresh milk drink. It was sooo good!!

Beautiful location and great service. Everyone is so kind and knowledgeable. I didn't even need to look at the menu because Cass knew everything (which is amazing). We got the fruit slush and "the whale crystal with coconut milk and they were so good! I'm getting another coconut to go😅 They also have some fun games for the kids. Will definitely come back!

Came in here not really knowing what I wanted. The girls up front were very nice and helped us select our drinks as well as explain the health benefits of the topping tao jiao. We ended up getting the whale crystal, which had the Tao jiao topping. It has coconut milk in it. Tasted great. It's also pet friendly.

Great place to have boba milk tea in Downtown Plano. Great location with the free parking lot in the opposite site of the store and short walking distance to the center of Downtown Plano if you go straight into the driveway right beside the shop. Great natural lighting. Their milk tea tastes so good and the toppings are super fresh. They even have crane and claw machine in the corner.

So excited to finally try this place! The drinks are great but the actual boba pearls are some of the best I’ve had in the area - so fresh!

Great new Boba and drink shop conveniently located in old town plano! My daughter loved her mango boba and I really enjoyed the blue crystal drink!

All the workers in the shop were very polite and super sweet to my daughter. Parking is easy with a big free lot right across the street. Love the whale art designs inside and it’s great they used a local artist to do it too! Bonus, they had a claw game in the corner that we could actually win some stuffies out of.

Went in for their soft opening and can’t wait to go back! Thai tea and peach fruit tea were both delicious. Their space is so bright and inviting. Close to parking in downtown Plano made it easy to access.

Beautiful aesthetic that features hand painted murals and very modern decor. Service was fantastic and the drinks were extremely high quality! Will definitely be back soon.

Yummy mango slush!! The homemade boba is really good too!! Sometimes boba can be too chewy but theirs is just right. Very clean and I love the artwork!

I’d never had boba before, but the location was so perfect we had to give it a go and dang it I’m hooked!!!
The mango fruit slush was full of flavor, great portions, and very pleasant staff. The atmosphere is so inviting.

I love this boba tea shop. Ever since I went to this tea shop when it opened a few months ago, my wife and I haven’t really gone to any other boba tea shop. We’ve been only going to The Whale Tea for our boba tea run to get our boba tea fix. The menu doesn’t just have boba iced tea, but it also has hot tea drinks available and one of their hot drinks I liked that’s really good is like a black tea with ginger. The ginger really made it pop and was just what needed on a cold day. My wife likes the brown sugar milk tea and always gets it, but I think my favorites are the rose milk tea, the black tea with a lemon flavor (fruit tea), and the oolong milk tea. I’m also an avid tea drinker and like trying out different flavors. So there’s that. But, for coffee drinkers, one should try out the coffee crystal milk drink. It has crystals that are jelly-like and coffee-flavored and when they dissolve in the milk it turns into a coffee latte-type drink. It’s really cool. Interesting concept. Everybody should check this place out.

Came here with a group of friends and wanted to try out the new boba place while hanging out in downtown Plano.

Ambience: love the modern decor.

Service: the staff are super friendly and tentative.

Food and drinks: tried the brown sugar fresh milk and love the drink. Not overly sweet nor blend. Perfect for the crazy weather that we are experiencing in northern DFW.

Overall: will be back to visit the location to try a new drink out! Thank you Whale Tea!

Service was amazing! As soon as I opened the door, I was greeted by all of the staff, they kindly helped explain some drinks to me and wished me a good day as I left. The drinks are a little pricey (large Jasmine Tea Crystal with boba was a little over $10) but honestly, I think the drink is worth the price! Very tasty. Would come back again! 🫶🏻

You need to try the signature drink the Whale crystal series. Coconut milk! Fresh ingredients not from powder milk or flavor.

Have you ever wished tea drinks were topping with a little liquid? Whale Tea's crystal drinks are lightly sweet and mostly jelly. Exactly what I never knew I needed in my day!

Great tea spot! Stopped in to check it out and tried the Lychee Tea with Boba and Lychee jelly and the Pineapple Tea. The boba were warm and very well prepared. The Teas were also very tasty with fresh fruit included in each. Very clean and inviting spot and the staff was super friendly.

First time here. Went with my daughter and 7 month old grandson. Cool atmosphere, inviting, friendly. Refreshing signature milk teas and the mango slushy with yogurt boba was delightful. Great place to chill and relax for a bit. Will be coming back.

whale tea is amazing, the owners and service is so good they really make sure your enjoying their drinks~ the vibes are light and airy and they have a cute corner for studying along with their other seating. I got the crème brûlée oreo tea and it was so good! 10/10 recommend! wishing them good luck with their new endeavors!

Very inviting space and beautiful atmosphere. Cassius is very helpful in finding exactly what you like. The Grapefruit Fruit tea is highly recommended. The grapefruit tea was amazing!
