Cafe Gecko Eastside

Always wanted to come here since I've heard so many good things. We came around lunch which was perfect since it tends to be crowded during the evenings. My friend wasn't drinking due to cancer treatments so our server Jessica (who didn't know this) served her plain water drink drink extra special with an umbrella and lime. This was so cute and thoughtful. We both ordered from the lunch menu where she had the Poblano Chicken and I had the Santiago Beef. Both were delicious and we couldn't eat another bite. The atmosphere was great since it wasn't crowded which made it perfect for conversation. There is a patio as well where you can catch the band playing or people watch. Will be coming back!!

Welcome to the neighborhood! Great covered patio, atmosphere, and friendly service. The food is really good, definitely try the blackened chicken on whatever you decide! We started with apps and ended with apps this time, soooo good!

Cafe Gecko is amazing. They have Music bingo on Tuesday and karaoke on fridays. Every day though after 11 is half price apps and the shrimp chowder is my absolute favorite followed by any of the nachos especially the seafood nacho. The only thing missing is a pool table but right now it's the best spot in downtown Plano so go see my favorite bartender parker and he'll take good care of you.

New place on for us and our friends to go. Food is excellent service is wonderful and we made new friends. Can't wait to go again.

Just say this if your looking for a place with awesome food and drinks this is the place to be. The inside Is so awesome looking and very clean. The atmosphere in there is outstanding and everyone in there is so friendly! I will be going back again and again and again. I am sold to this place. Love it here! Came here on a whim and had an amazing time! Amazing beans, great tacos, drinks were delicious. Jordan was great and remembered our drink order and was on top of refill, Angie came through and was helping along the way and was just as awesome. Thank you Cafe Gecko! I’ll definitely be coming back!

The chicken nachos were bomb. Jordon was friendly and attentive. Angie provided chill vibe couples with an infectious smile. Great place for an out of tower to grab a quick bite. Great atmosphere. Totally recommend.

First time to eat here and it was awesome! Had the blacken chicken salad with the hot bacon dressing. Oh wow! It was awesome. Took after of the salad home it was so big! The bartender was awesome great customer service!
Can’t wait to go again and try something else.

Out of all the bars I've been to in downtown plano, this is one of them. They serve drinks, and the food exists. This bar remains the sole anchor for my fragile will to live. 5/5 stars.

These late night apps are legit! Half price too! Fuhgetaboutit. Jordan makes a mean drink and Angie was great and patient with all our questions.

I’ve been looking forward to this opening for a long time. I used to frequent the gecko in Addison and I see a lot of familiar faces. I love the staff. I love the food. I feel blessed to have Gecko right down the road. I highly recommend. Try the Chicken tortilla soup! It’s my favorite in Dallas.

Such a great place! Looks clean, friendly & attentive service, and the good is delicious! I've tried multiple dishes at this point and can recommend all of them.

Stopped in for a drink. Took a snapchat picture of the moose head with Hawaii tourist attire on - some locals game me a nasty glare klikly thought I took a picture if them but could really care less about them, I slapped some snapchat text on their judgmental faces. 😂 Beer was good. Seemed clean. Bartender checked in on us between her discussions with her locals - good Bartender. Restroom was clean.

Only down side they don't make cocktails or anything g like that but has a huge bottle of bitters which is misleading. LoL
Maybe the Bartender just didn't want to do them or didn't know them or maybe they just stopped doing them. Who knows, didn't really get a chance to ask.

I forgot to take pictures. I had frozen margaritas and Raul Beef Quesadilla.
I give 5 stars because the food is delicios.
The staff is super friendly.
The drinks are strong.
Just a recommendation to the bar-restaurant, I remember you had games on the othe bar that it was located at Addison, bring some games to this restaurant too. I could have more fun with my friends like used to have when I was at Addison.
Besides that, everything is great!!!
