R24: Women's Formal Wear Alterations

Melissa is fantastic at alterations & hemming. I've had the joy of working with her twice and I've been more than pleased with the outcome each time- despite challenging dress designs and/or materials. Her prices are fair and her work is exceptional. Morgantown is lucky to have someone as highly skilled as she is.

So happy with what she did with my dress! The dress looks amazing as if I just bought it and had no work done to it. It was done in a very quickly amount of time which was also very nice. Wouldn’t recommend anyone else but her for alterations. I loved the very friendly atmosphere she provides and the little gift bag I received was adorable!!

She did an amazing job on both my prom and homecoming dresses, she is very well priced and professional ! She is also super friendly and sweet. Plus she is very flexible on her hours (super helpful because I am a student). I definitely recommend her to anyone who needs an alteration, plus she is fast!

I dried my husband’s and my faux fur hoods on our winter coats in the dryer. They looked terrible! I ordered new faux fur, and Melissa replaced them for us. I actually like mine *better* than the original! Excellent work. Totally recommend!

I was in desperate need to get my dress fixed. My dress was too small!! I needed it in less than a week and I was so happy with the results. She added a corset in place of the zipper and it looks better than the original!! Definitely recommend!!!

I needed my bridesmaids dress taken in last minute durong the week of Christmas because I lost a bunch of weight and didnt realize it. Not only did she see me the same day I called, but she had my dress ready to go and fitting like a glove 5 days later and on top of that, she had to guestimate my dress length because I didnt have my shoes yet when I first went in and it was PERFECT! I've had lots of dresses altered for proms, pagents, and weddings and I really wish I would have know about her sooner. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone.
