Quaint little place open just Monday through Friday 11 to 5. Has a wonderful selection of cold pastas, desserts, and beverages to go with their lengthy sandwich menu. The people are warm and friendly. The taste of the sandwich is very fresh. I like the Veggie, but I have found they are all wonderful.

The food is amazing. I always get the panini which is amazing on onion bread. Do yourself a favor and stop in at this little gem. Everyone is sweet and the food is amazing. They make places like Jimmie John's and Subway look like amateurs. Also the dessert are amazing. I would have taken pictures but I ate it too fast. They also make amazing platters which is how I found them in the first place as my work orders them. Amazing!!

This place has the best sandwiches in town, homemade bread, pasta salads, unique teas, homemade frozen dinners to take home, desserts, a friendly staff and wonderful owners. The prices need to be updated, they do not charge enough for what you get! Best bang for the buck by far.

Everything here is so fresh and delicious. The bread, the veggies, the meat... it's all perfection.

Don't judge them based on the age/style of the interior. All their time and money goes into quality ingredients.

Green Grocery's California club on toasted sourdough bread was quite possiblity the best sandwich I've had in the past 5 years. The owner put care into each step of the process , even the onion was cut super thin.
The wait is worth it.

I would definitely recommend this place. The sandwiches were very good and a generous portion. The place was clean and the staff was friendly. Their hours of service are 11am-3pm even though the website states open to 5pm.

Delicious freshly made sandwiches with quality ingredients! Service is usually pretty quick since you order at the counter.

To those with young children: there are many fragile items for sale on bookshelves throughout the dining area and easily reachable by toddlers. So dining in could be a challenge with younger children.

Great deli sandwiches and salads. This places is exceptionally clean and neat and always has freshly baked bread. They are consistent and make your order quickly. A great place for a casual lunch or take away.

Always fresh and no question about the cleanliness! A great variety of sandwiches offered and they serve you fairly quickly. Love the variety of dining room sets for in house dining. Parking lot is scary, though! Park with caution. Lol

I like be this place. As with all the good Kerrville restaurants, at lunch time it is packed! The smoked salmon sandwich is wonderful served on, I believe, fresh pumpernickel. Their potato salad is as close to zabars, in New York, as I ahve ever tasted. The potatoes aren't as Al dented, but the flavor is there!!!!! Go and enjoy the food and the payed back setting

This place is a little on the pricey side, but delicious! The red potato and cheddar soup and turkey delight sandwich was awesome. They've also got some loose leaf tea—the rooibos tea was good.
