Hometown Crafts & Gifts

Purchased things I cannot get anywhere else. Hometown old style arts store with a huge fabric section. There was furniture that was very western hill country style. Decor too. Gifts. Seasonal items were on sale and there were many options. Check out took a bit of time. But the cashier was sweet. We were checked on by sales people on the floor. You won’t have that happen at Hobby Lobby! We were helped right away for fabric- no waiting or taking a number! Good deals too! I just loved this place. Felt like a blast from the past. Everything you need if you are a serious crafter.

A lot of variety. They have a frame area that is superb. They have helped me on numerous occasions. Also have material section if you are looking for that. Definitely recommend this craft store.

Always have the best furniture for the value. The staff are always a pleasure to speak with.

Update****: just had 4 old concert posters that meant a lot to me and I've been meaning to get them framed. River Oaks Framing in Hometown Craft framed all of them and I am very pleased. Worth every penny. I will go to them for everything.

Great selection and customer service

The staff are friendly and willing to assist but can't compete with Hobby in price or inventory. I just stopped because I was in the area and hoped they might have what I needed before going on the other side of town

Even if you don't think they have what you need, take the time to check. I was pleasantly surprised and the customer service was great!

My first time here today. Staff was pleasant and helpful, and I was pleased to find so many different supllies. They have a wonderful collection of open back frames in some very elegant styles. I think I will be coming here to frame some paintings !

All the attendants are helpful. One or two are short fused & impatient but all are willing to do their best.

When you're looking for a super store of furniture. This is the store to view all kinds of goods. I was able to meet the owner who personally helped us shop and find exactly what we wanted. I highly recommend you check this store out.

My wife makes dolls and purses. We live in San Antonio and although there are a bunch of stores with supplies for a hobby, she absolutely loves Hometown Crafts & Gifts. I am a duty full husband. I can take her there when we're up in Kerrville and then sit outside letting the world pass by, lol.

This is a neat little store and we need to try to go there more often to support the local business. I only wish they didn't take out their patterns in the sewing section.
